I have a a cut-by-choice friend who at age 17 had the operation because he thought, having only seen US porn, that cut = much sexier. He tells me he bitterly regrets having had it done now (he's 35) because the sensation is only about 25% of what it was. Given the recent research from the US which compared sexual stimulation responses of intact penises vs. that of circumcised ones it is hardly surprising he feels a large proportion of his ability to respond to sexual stimulation has been taken away.

I think his experience is interesting because he did not have any physical problem which lead to his decision, nor any overwhelming psychological compulsion to get circumcised (well, not like some people seem to have had prior to being operated upon) but was based primarily on an aesthetic consideration. Of course now that much, perhaps even most, porn features men with intact penises he realizes that his judgement would be different now.

I was cut at birth,as a teen I never understood why getting an erection hurt and felt good.I thought sex involved pain.I learned later what my parents did to me.At 30 years old I lost the ability to get erect,no sensation in the glans.Only through restoration was I able to function again.

My mother loves to bitch about bad sex with dad.He was the minute man or could not keep it up!Faced with the facts she still has no remorse for what she watched the doctor do to me.And I have no sympathy for her ,she deserved every bad encounter with dad.

It takes a while to train the mind to think intact. It really is a mental conversion, especially if you ever thought it was more "aesthetic" to be cut and being "uncut" was kind of wild and uncivilized. And dirty.

Seems as though this is discussing the process of restoring a circumcised mind to a wholeness perspective.

I take the comments of MC1000 as being very credible because he gives detail. The others repeat the same old saws - "it's a flap of skin" (anyone who has ever had a foreskin knows better) or they are cheerleading - you really should try it! Tony the Tiger says "It's grrrreeeaaat!"

Even MC1000 says he just wanted to be normal. He was normal. It's our culture that is unnatural.

Meanwhile if you want to see some beautiful natural dick, have a look in hungjosh and nd11111111's galleries at the end of this thread:

Uncut Cock - Natural is Best

End of story.

Yeah? Like how do you know? How much sex did you have before age 16?

Does it even matter? You unequivocally won't accept the answer anyway.

I didn't really have much sex before the age of 15, um, hours, but I've gotten along fine without it. I've sometimes wondered what it would be like if I was uncut. All I know about that is a little bit of how one feels in my hand. My friend, whose intact dick is roughly the same size as mine (maybe a little longer and not as fat), let me play with it a little bit once. It was...interesting, not better or worse, just different. I think the uncut and cut states both have their pros and cons. If I had my say, I wouldn't have been cut just because I don't think there is any really sound reason to hack off a piece of the body as it was naturally formed. I'm not terribly bitter and wishing death on my parents for having me circumsized, however.

how is ANYONE supposed to answer this stupid poll. most people are circumsized as infants, then go with the head of their penis rubbin on their pants for 15 years or so before they ever have sex.... how in the world do they have any other experience to compare it to!?

The figures speak for themselves;
To date
35 respondents (50%)say the like being circumcised and of this a significant proportion feel that it enhances their sensitivity and sexual performance.

20 respondents (30%) say they really don't like being circumcised and regret or oppose the procedure.

The balance of 15 respondents (20%) are not really fussed either way.

I think we could hold this debate again and again but the results will always be broadly the same and the answers are quite clear.

Some of us love being circumcised and support circumcision, others dislike it and don't think its a good thing. And many don't care a fuck either way and find this debate a boring waste of lpsg time and energy.

And if you look at the voters its of us usual suspects with a smattering of newcomers and one off drop ins to the debate.

The usual suspects aint gonner change their positions and most people have a clear view in which of the three camps they stand on this issue.

So let's live and let live

This poll should only be taken by ADULT MEN that had it done at least one year prior to this poll, and are able to give input on sexual experiences with BOTH configurations. Otherwise, this is biased hubris.

Actually No, I don't class myself as Jewish. My dad's side of the family is indeed Jewish, my mum's side isn't.
I was not brought up Jewish and was not circumcised as a baby. I was circumcised aged 16 when i was old enough to make the decision for myself. It was nothing to do with religion, I am an atheist and as such do not practice or defend any organised religion.
I am only interested in circumcision for the sexual and cosmetic effects.

And you're aware that the ancient Egyptians and Jews performed it as a "pleasure sacrifice" to God, correct? In the middle ages, the rabbi Maimedias (correct english spelling?) claimed it would make men "more moderate," and sex less about physical pleasure and more of a "spiritual connection."

The Victorians in America, namely Dr. John Harvey Kellogg and Sylvester Graham, claimed it would "reduce lust," thus preventing teenaged boys from masturbating. THIS is the reason it became popular in the US.

Alright. What are the advantages?
