| | | I really would love to here some responses from those that were cut as adults for no other reason that COSMETIC!!! Naturaly those that were cut due to phimosis will admit to greater stimulation (um yea, u had skin covering ur head all the time). I am uncut, NOT tight at all, not overly long, I can handle DIRECT stimulation on my head... If i got it cut off I'm positive I'd lose sensitivity. So I have a hard time believing there's no loss of sensitivity. I love cut cocks, I'd love to have a cut cock myself, but I'm terrified of having dulled sensations!!!
Let's hear from guys that DID NOT have phimosis, infections, gunky cheese, or other foreskin issues and were cut purely for asthetics. Hows the sensitivity now? Years later...

| | | I was cut a age 30 b/c foreskin become too tight. I have regretted it ever since. I was unaware there were other options. Sex have never felt as good. There is no feeling that can compare to having your foreskin slide back and forth over the head of your cock while the whole cock is sliding in and out of your partner! Sex without the foreskin just feels like you are missing half the experience. As far as my wife, vaginally she says there isn't much of a difference, but she perferred the foreskin during oral sex, and masturbating me wash much easier and more fun with the foreskin. As for me there is a very noticable decrease in sensitivity, and learning how the mastrubate without a foreskin took a little while. I'm not saying that sex is no longer good. The pleasure level is just not as intense. It takes alot more time and work to climax now, which at times is good and bad.
I read on here that some men are glad they were cut later in life, and good for them! I'm all for anything that adds to a person's pleasure in life. As for me, it is a decision I have regretting from day one.

But a flap of skin?
There has been no evidence that correctly performed circumcision affects sexual response negatively... It does not affect the nerves involved in ejaculation.
You probably would blame migraines on getting your wisdom teeth extracted.

Let's hear from guys that DID NOT have phimosis, infections, gunky cheese, or other foreskin issues and were cut purely for asthetics. Hows the sensitivity now? Years later... | I only know two guys who got cut late in life ( early 30s, late 20's) for aesthetics... both these guys were horndogs who went after oodles of women.
They both received enough complaints from the women they were seeing as to appearance and odor that they decided to go for it.
The results, as reported to me, were that Both were happy about the operation... that their lady friends preferred the new look and that they kinda dug it as well, if only for novelty....
The younger guy told me he felt no appreciable difference whatsoever in sensation.... the skin sliding back and forth is indistinguishable from the vagina skin sliding back and forth....
the older guy said he felt a significant difference... that the whole glans of his dick felt much more intense sensation... and that, even more noticeably... it was far more stimulated just being in his pants... rubbing against cloth, etc. He said he walked around with a permanent semi- for about two years after the operation before he got used to the sensation.

Then came the accident and I was given the grim news that the foreskin had to go. I was helpless (and heavily medicated) so I didn't argue and then I joined the ranks of the circumcised. Sex soon after was fabulous. Not just fabulous but amazing. Suddenly my bare shaft got to feel the delicious warmth of a vagina hugging it. No longer was there an annoying skin creating hassles when rolling on a condom (when a woman or man refused barebacking). Condoms too felt nicer. And without the skin, they seemed to run less of a risk of coming of-keep in mind, the foreskin moves around during sex and frictions against the condom-in long lasting sex sessions the condom runs a higher risk of coming off because of this-trust me, I've dealt with it. Never lost a condom since being circumcised.
Truth be known, sex is wonderful since circumcision and it was wonderful before.
As to your nimrod polling it is nonsense, since there are few who can honestly tell you the difference of 'how circumcision has effected' their 'sex life' The only ones who can tell you if it has effected in any real way are those who have been on both sides.
Saying as you did, 'Only answer if you have been circumcised' needs the clarifier of " since you began having any sexual involvements" . Without that it is pointless. How would a man circumcised at birth know if being circumcised had effected his sex life? He wouldn't!

| | | cosmetic! Q: For what reasons do you perform circumcisions? A: The most common reasons for which I perform circumcisions are: · Cosmetic appearance · Phimosis (tight foreskin) · Paraphimosis (inability to pull the retracted foreskin back over the glans) · Balanitis and balanoposthitis (inflammation of glans and glans and foreskin) · Frenulum breve (short frenulum which tears with intercourse) · Diseases of the foreskin, including cancer Nothing better to do than attempt to correct verbage??? Honestly! Both words work so why bother?! | | | |

| | | Phil...glad to hear your two friends had such positive outcomes. And yes I agree with most of what they reported. ".... the skin sliding back and forth is indistinguishable from the vagina skin sliding back and forth...." is true. What I was talking about is that there is an added, very pleasurable sensation as the foreskin rolls over the head of the penis. On the inward thrust there is not only the sensation of the head rubbing against vaginal walls, but also the added pleasure of the foreskin unrolling and retracting over the head. On the outward motion you get the added sensation of the foreskin being pulled back over the head. This was true for me only if having sex without a condom (I was in a LONG term committed relationship) or I put on the condom in such a way that the foreskin was not continually retracted. Guys who are uncut can put on a comdom in such a way to keep the foreskin in a retracted position or in such a way to allow it the move/slide in a more natural way. The added stimulation of the foreskin movement with the stimulation from the vaginal walls is what I was referring to.
As for sensitivity of the head, yes it was much more sensitive after the circ....painfully sensitive at times. This only lasted about six month. After that things started to settle down. Once the head was inside my partner it was pretty much the same level sensitivity pre-circ. However, when it came to masturbation it was too sensitive for any kind a play that was not extremely gentle. Also day to day movement inside a pair of pants could be painful too. With the forskin protecting the head it stay somewhat moist and supple. Without that portection the head becomes dried out and overly sensitve. Kinda like in witner when your lips become chapped. Even contact with the softest, lightest underware will cause chaffing. Over time the skin of the head will "toughen up" enough to overcome most of this. The downside is that with this there is some loss of feeling. Not a great deal of loss, but enough to notice.
Another thing that plays a major role in all of this is how tightly you are cut. I was cut loose enough that in my flaccid state over half of the head is still coverd. Some guys are cut so tight that erections are painful because the skin that is left is stretched too tight. Like with any surgery or body modification there are going to be various results.
I think that for an uncut man, deciding whether to get cut or not is a very complex choice. (I think it is a choice a man should make for himself, not his parents or Doc.) I truely understand the cosmetic side of this choice. While growing up a saw only one other male like myself (uncut) and that was not until my sophomore year in gym. I undstand what it is like to feel different and to want to be normal. It can be a very powerful motivation. If a guy wants to get cut for this reason I fully support that. I went for years wanting to get cut for that exact reason. It is a choice few adult males very get the chance to make, and one that even fewer ever talk about. I'm sorry if I gave the impression that getting cut ruined my sex life. It did not. It slowed it down for about six months while a adjusted. All I am trying to do is pass along is my experience. For ME, getting cut did not enhance my sex life. I too like the look of my cut cock better than uncut. As for the feelings...I did have more feelings being uncut. The biggest noticable difference being in masturbation. If had to choose between cut or not being able to retract the forskin I would choose being cut. If I had known about stretching options or a dorsal spit I would have tried thoose first. I think sex is really great and anything that lessens it in any way is regretable. I regret any choice that lessens my sexual pleasure by any amount or form.

| | | I can't really comment... I have never had the experience of being uncut ( that I can recall)
I was just reporting the only direct feedback that I have heard on the issue from the only guys I have ever met who had it done after becoming sexually active.
Personally... I think it makes no difference.
Its such a minor issue...
I have a 2 gauge ring thru my dick and I wear 4 pounds of ball stretchers when I fuck...
the sensation of the ball stretchers is far more intense than the ring.
Comparatively, I can barely feel the ring.

| | | I think a cut dick is superior in every way: got mine done about 6yrs ago out of choice and it has really improved my sex life. Wanking takes longer but my orgasms are lot more intense; I cum a lot more. The build-up is greater and you can withstand a lot more stimulation of the glans which mean better staying power and love-making. Luv the clean sleak "ready pealed" look of my dick and the gentle rub of my cut dick in my pants during the day. And it is a lot easier to keep your knob clean. Clean knob = a lot more bjs! | | | |
