You can't be serious? Maybe you should provide some evidence to support your claims.

The major things that have a major effect on all bodily excretions are the things you put in.

Diet is only one of the things that can have an effect. Supplements that you take including some over-the-counter vitamins will have a major effect on everything coming out.

Medications are another area where you will have effects.

My suggestion first would be to look carefully at all the things that you are consuming as a starting point.

There are also several medical conditions that can have a profound effect on what comes out.

Though what you have sounds simple and innocuous for the most part it could also be brought on at your age (and you're younger than I am) by prostate issues.

If all else fails to explain the change (the significant word here is a change from what you had been) the next best thing to do is to consult your physician or Urologist......

the whole argument is too black & white. water is needed in moderation to flush the kidneys, more so if you drink diaretic fluids such as coffee and so on.

aside from the common sense of including water from a non-diaretic source in your diet, i would not say it is essential to drink lots of pure water, nor would i say there is no evidence that shows the benefits thereof.

simple: if you lose more than you put in = bad. during dehydration the concentration of pH either way is a risk dependant upon diet. anything else is opinion, conjecture and fuel for this utterly pointless fire. get over it and stop arguing. get back to discussing what to do about ACIDIC SEMEN more directly or to hell with all of you.

Doctors get there education from scientific studys!
The ones who make up their oun I would stay away from.
You may be right you may be wrong.
I was just asking for a study. Hint hint, there are none.

And maybe you should yours.
Last week there was a big to do over this in the news.
The fact that there are no scientific studies to support the water theories.

Celery will make your cum sweet.
Asparagus will make it awfull.

um gjorg.....if you're trying to make a reference to the study that concluded drinking 8 glasses of water wasn't necessary, well...hmm gonna be inflamitory here but you're being a dick. I've been browsing around the site for the last hour or so, and all you have been doing is trying to stir crap up with everyone and taking the thread off topic to quibble with everyone who doesn't agree with what you have to say. Normally I keep my mouth shut about crap like this but you're becoming annoying. If you don't have anything better to do than to go along provoking fights, please find somewhere else to spend your time.

Now, back on topic sorta.... Water is essencial for our bodies to function. We don't need to drink 8 glasses of water a day if we eat a diet filled with fresh vegetables and fruit, as they, like us, are made up primarly of water. If you're diet is high in fatty foods, spicy foods, or processed foods, it can change the ph of our bodies. So if you want to cleanse your system out you drink water. I'm not doctor or nutritionist, but if I were the op, I would examine what I am eating everyday, and adjust my diet until my seman no longer iritates the skin. It also could easily be something like using too harsh of a soap to bathe with. Antibacterial soaps are bad about drying out the skin, or causing irritation or rashes. It also could be that the op has changed laundry detergent or fabric softeners. The list could go on for ever, but if it is causing him too much pain, angst/worry, he should see his doctor and get a full cbc panel to make sure everything is in working order, and then work from there to find the solution.

Hey man, I was giving you props here....You are right about drinking water, you don't need to drink 8 glasses of water a day if you eat a proper diet. Now as to the stab and retreat......I'm not saying that what you are posting is wrong, its that you come off kinda assholish. People will not take offence to what you say if you come off a bit kinder and not so know-it-all. Just trying to keep the peace here, as I'm tired of seeing so many threads get off topic by people arguing and bitching back an forth. I come to the site to gather information, not to observe unnecessairy drama.....Just my two cents

I am pretty big on NOT hijacking threads.
I was pointing out that lots of water will not help this mans situation.
It won't flush your kidneys or bladder either but just make them work more! People wanted to answer back without making sense just going on old wives tales.

You could try some bicarbonate of soda dissolved in water. :-)
It's your pH. It has to be balanced a bit to the alkaline side.

Hmmm, in about 15 seconds on Google i found TWO. Here is one study I found in the Health Benefits of Drinking Water (see the "Heart Healthy" section). The second is a reference in an article (i am sure you can email the author of the article to get the study details) 4 Surprising Benefits of Drinking Plenty Of Water

BTW, "modern" medical science is NOT the end-all for accurate nutritional information. Western doctors get VERY LITTLE education on how to PREVENT/CURE diseases via diet whereas ALL specialists in "natural" healing emphasize DIET including adequate water consumption as one of the first things you look at to prevent and/or cure most diseases. Sad to say the money is in disease maintenance via prescription drugs, NOT preventions/cures and "western" doctors are trained to support that industry since it in essence pays their salaries.
