I know the cut/uncut debate rumbles on in various formats throughout this board but having just sat through an American Porn DVD in which every male pornstar was cut and constantly needed to lube up or spit ever time he wanted to wank himself it got me thinking how cruel it is to circumcise children before they have had a chance to decide whether they want it or nor. Cultural customs aside it just seems physically and psychologically barbaric that we still do this to people.

Personally, foreskin creeps me out, even my own! I know I'm a total hypocrite, and I buy your argument, but I know what I like. Mind you, hungjosh, if all uncut penises looked like yours, I would probably change my mind.

We're born with foreskins for a reason. We think of female circumcision as a human rights infringement but not that circumcising boys is a crime.

I think an uncut cock is much more attractive than a cut cock: it feels better, it moves better and the guy has more fun with it.

The last 2 or 3 American made porn dvd's that I have looked at had mostly uncut males in it. I was thinking how unusual it was to see other males uncut like myself. Uncut meat is a turn on for me. Or should I say clean uncut meat. I keep mine clean enough you can eat off of it. Yes it is barbaric and should only be done for medical problems (not the typical medical reason used for many years here) or should be done when a penis has reached its full growth.

Well I don't believe God made foreskins. I believey they evolved to protect the sensitive glans. The glans on a uncut cock cannot be as sensitive as one that is kept moist and away from air inside the foreskin.

Funny, I literally just got done posting this in response to a blog about circumcision in which the gentlemen said those cut as infants should be "thankful."

I TOTALLY agree. things and especially persons should be kept as natural as possible, or at least give the person the chance to decide for themselves.

Let men decide for themselves. Circumcision has nothing to do with hygiene or health it is an unsavoury custom which no child should have to undergo.

You haven't posted too much to the circ/foreskin threads so I know you don't feel as strongly as I do about R.I.C. The more that people speak up and dismiss the cesspool of bullshit surrounding R.I.C., the sooner it will end.

The point about the man making his own decision, definitely has impact. Many guys who were cut at birth get it even though they may say they're "happy" being cut.

Well some of us are happy being circumcised and like how our circumcised cocks are and look. It always interests me that so many uncut guys on this site choose to abuse and put up frankly offensive and unreasonable postings about circumcised guys. Why don't you just give it a rest and lay off abusing other people. We've had soo many rant posts like this and its the same extremeists who come swooping down to chant the same tired damaged record. Its like groundhog day. Give it a rest and give cut guys a break. If the circumcised guys on the site chose to do such offensive postings we would never hear the end of it and the moderator would be called in regarding abuse and bullying.I would remind the poster that in our history another man who had a hatred of circumcision was adolf hitler and so taken to its extreme all this type of abuse has a very dark and nasty history.

Yeah, I'm cut, I had no choice in the matter, and I'm okay with that. The cut/uncut debate is so blown out of proportion it's ridiculous. People come in here acting like they would have resented their parents their whole lives just for making a decision that, frankly, matters very little in the big scheme of things. I don't think that 20 years ago, before the internet and before people could just anonymously look for information about penises left and right, people cared very much either way.

Put yourself in a father's shoes 20-30 years ago. Okay, you've just had a baby boy and the doctor asks you about circumcision. The only information you have about circumcision is that you're circumcised, and you've lived a pretty healthy life up until now, and the lack of foreskin hasn't given you any problems. Hell, you even remember the time that little Johnny got made fun of in the boy's locker room for being the only kid who wasn't circumcised. Damn, he must've felt like crap for that. You don't want that grief for your kid! You imagine the awkwardness of that talk. "Dad, why does my penis look different from yours and other kids?" Yeesh. You think, "It can't hurt that badly, and he won't remember a thing! I certainly don't." So you decide to go along with the circumcision.

I guarantee you this is the process that most fathers that decide to have their boys circumcised go through. Argue about your perfect God-made body all you like, but in the end, does it really affect you? Do you really have to worry about it?

People also forget that there's a major difference between female circumcision and male circumcision. First of all, male circumcision is an archaic (not barbaric) practice that was started because of cleanliness and convenience. Female circumcision is practiced SOLELY for the purpose of increasing a male's sexual pleasure while having sex with a woman. Female circumcision poses other health threats by having the vagina so close to the urethra, which can cause UTIs and other infections, whereas male circumcision has the benefits of decreased HIV transmission and eliminates the risk of phimosis.

The message you deride as a rant within your rant above is aimed not at the circumcised, who are often victims, but at those who wish to circumcise infants. If this is not you, do not take offense. If it is you, take heed. Listen to the thousands (millions?) of unwillingly and unhappily circumcised men. Listen to the thousands (millions?) of men who chose to be circumcised as adults. Consider the value of having a choice in the matter.

And drop the persecution complex.
