"On a good day I'm 1/2 inch bigger"?

I often hear guys say stuff like "I'm 7.5 x 5.75, but on a good day I'm 8 x 6" or "if I'm with someone really hot I'm 0.5 inches longer." I think guys are just making this up so they can exaggerate their size. I found that being extra aroused will just make me stiffer, but doesn't noticeably change my dimensions.

Am I right or can guys really grow 0.5" or 1" or more just by being super aroused?

I don't know about anyone else,
But sometimes on a good day it seems that way.

I think it's possible. On average I'm 8.5 inches long but I have measured myself at slightly under 9 on certain days.

i never have understood that. when i'm hard, im hard. the size doesnt fluctuate. i dont know where other guys are pullin these extra half inches from. probably from the same place that hitokiri pulls his lol

It is very possible. My dick has varying degrees of hardness and sometimes (especially if I'm alone/jerking off) it just won't get beyond a certain point. So the rigidity of it is really variable. It's not like I even have to measure to be able to tell - on a good day I will stick straight up, pulsing heavily and be very evidently at my fullest, and other times it'll be kind of half-assed, maybe slightly leaning, and not quite there. Comparing the two, you can totally eyeball the difference. If you've got a consistent erection day in, day out, you're actually quite lucky - my guess is that the people who are in good shape (such as yourself, Jovial) have the most 'stable' hard-ons.

Yes, I feel like I can reach a near full erection pretty easily, then by squeezing my muscles get the full length and girth even if I'm not throbbing-turned on. I guess if someone needs a lot of constant stimulation to get and stay erect then it would be harder to get a true measurement.

Never gained a half inch like that, I guess I am not that lucky. I have maybe gained a 1/4" from being harder than normal. Those are the kind of erections that feel like they are made of steel.

I've wondered the about same thing. Every time I ever measured since I was 15 it's been exactly the same. I don't see how a full hard-on could vary so much as some guys say. But I get an erection very easily. It either hard or it's not.

For me the difference comes from when I measure. If my boyfriend stroked me up to full hardness, I'd be just that extra bit harder because he turns me on. Stroking to porn or fantasies gets me hard, but not like when he touches me.

There are times when I feel harder than usual. There have been moments when my dick was rock-hard and feeling like it was about to explode, and on those times my dick was definitely a little bigger. There have been times when I've gotten a solid erection, where I can get off, and where I could probably fuck a girl, but it was still slightly bendable, and I think it was a little smaller than normal.

Erections aren't exact on ANY guy. Erections have to do with blood flow; in any flow, not much is perfectly exact, unless you stop it completely. If that's the case, well, I think you have to go see a doctor. Not too sure on that one.

In any event, the amount of difference can vary. Some guys get essentially the exact same erection every time, and some get varying degrees of hardness depending on certain factors.

My dick is always the same length when it's up, regardless of level of arousal. However, my nose grows an inch when I'm super hot.

dont' know about half an inch, but yeah definitely is a bit longer when rock hard, super aroused, as opposed to just having a wank when half asleep
