I envy people with milder forms of it but I wouldnt give mine up for anything. I get the same tastes from the same things rarely do I get them from names but I get sweet\sour tastes from a lot of words. Some times its like actually tasting and sometimes it's an after taste sort of thing. Mix that with grapheme and its trouble. If I'm tired it takes forever to read or write things because of the confusion.
I have heard of this condition before and find it quite interesting. I'm glad you have learned to embrace or at least live with it.

My choir director in high school always described the sound she wanted as colors. I wonder if she had this condition. What's weird is that since then whenever I hear a new song which I like, I imagine the colors it would make.
