I wouldn't suggest making the attempt. I personally don't care if someone is gay, and I'm even a little flattered if they are interested in me. However, I know some guys that are homophobic rednecks and would literally kill any guy that made a move on them. It's not worth the risk. Straight men have the same problem chasing women that are taken are aren't interested. I had that problem a few times in university. It seemed that I always wanted women I knew I couldn't have. Once I came close to getting the girl I wanted, I would immediately lose interest. I came to realize later on that it wasn't the woman that I wanted so badly, it was just the "thrill of the chase" or the challenge (it can be addictive). Gay or straight, we all want what we can't have. Thank God I'm happily married now. I don't miss the head games and B.S. of dating one bit! |
