What is your good luck charm? Does it work? What do you use it for?

I have one I keep in my car. It's a small embroidered fabric tag that has some asian writing on it from some temple in Japan that a friend of mine gave me. I has worked so far. I'm still alive. I think I would feel unsafe driving without it now. Strange.
