| | | What do you guys shave or trim with? I decided to cut back most of my pubes yesterday for the first time ever, which I did with a pair of scissors. Then I carefully used the scissors on my scrote. So far so good. Then i got my phillishave 2 headed razor, this: http://www.softwarexpress.co.uk/images/18121f.jpg
and shaved the ballsack carefully and around the base of the shaft. It feels amazing now, all smooth. However, I ended up nicking 2 areas. The base of the shaft got cut with 2 micro size nicks. No big deal and today it's like a tiny red scratch. And the middle of the scrote, which was sore yesterday and is fine today.
What is the best way to do this? What tool do you use to shave/trim?

| | | If you want no hair on your ballsack, just shave it. But be very careful. The rest of my body hair I would trim. I have shaved my ballsack a few times, but after two or three days they starting to itch, so I don't do that anymore. Just found out what you like, but always be careful with your crownjewels :p | | | |

| | | ouch! I've tried to shave my pubes with a razor like that before, and I learned my lesson really quick! I got nicked quite a few times, and ended up with razor burn/rash the next day. My suggestion would be to trim your pubes up with scissors, and for a closer shave (like to shave your balls, the base of your cock, or to go for the hairless look) use a fresh disposable razor or a razor like a gillette mach 3 or something like that, and some shave gel for sensitive skin, and shave WITH THE GRAIN, not against. hope this helps | | | |

| | | I use clippers with a short attachment for the everything above the package. Then I just use a razor and shave cream or conditioner for the rest. I actually find conditioner works better most of the time. Plus it leaves the situation silky smooth. Sometimes I get a nick, but things seem to heal much faster in that area for me. I guess its all the increased blood flow. | | | |

| | Email Unconfirmed | Electric razors are no good. Just use a 2 or 3 blade razor. it's not as scary as it sounds.
I've got the same problem as pieterjoke though and it get itchy

I'll see if they start itching. Feels weird touching them though, like a defeathered chicken. So the shaver I used is fine for the job then?

I get nicks on my face however carefully I wetshave, which is why I only electric shave. Do you use a little bit of shaving foam on your sack before using a blade?

| | | Wow, everyone here is braver than I imagine I can be. Hmm, I might have to go to the barbers and ask them to do it for me. | | | |

| | | I know some of you are gonna freak out. But i use hair removal cream. Veet or Nair, i am clean and smooth, and i don't grow back as fast as shaving. All you have to do is put it on like you do any other body part. Let it set for 3 minutes, not longer than that and just hop in the shower and rinse it away. After you are done showering or bathing, put on some olive oil, or what ever you got on hand. I use olive oil, it leaves everything nice and smooth and soft. | | | |

| | | I use the Norelco Bodygroom. I used to just trim with it, but recently I have started shaving my ball sack with it. It works really well, and it has guards to keep you from nicking yourself. I still make sure to go VERY slowly. | | | |
