Dear Miaboy,
When I was your age, I was you. I had cystic acne which started in my early teens complicated by early heavy beard growth which worsened the scarring and I made many mistakes based on the time.
The first thing is to at this time forget the hair removal. Don't even consider that one until you are at least 35 years old. Like you, I am extremely hairy with hair in places that is far in excess of average including my back and shoulders. I was hairy in HS, BUT the real hair growth did not start until I reached my early 30's and then it was "wookie time". If you are hairy enough to consider removal at 20, new hair will be sprouting in mass quantities as you age. The hair removal guys will try and make a living off of you and you will go back over and over again to clear the same areas. If they tell you anything else they lie to get your money!
In HS I did not reach 5'7" till my senior year and finally ended up 5'9" by the time it was all over. My body weight then was 120-125 pounds.
Concentrate your financial efforts and physical efforts for change on one front at the gym and on the other front in your PE if you feel you need improvement in that area.
I now own and live on a Horse Ranch in the American Southwest. I concentrated efforts with lots of physical exercise, riding, and doing the work necessary to keep the ranch going. All of this when I am not at a desk, making a living. This and my time at the gym now has me now at 185-190 pounds and it is not fat either.
My spouse and I "adopted" our Nephew when things got really bad for him at home towards the end of HS. He is now 20 and will be celebrating his 21st in July of this year. He also inherited the family "wookie genes" and is extremely hairy. In his case, his butt and legs are so covered that seeing skin is the hard part. The hair on his arms and wrists is long and his dark beard shadow goes most of the way up his cheeks. The chest is hairy and the growth is now starting to appear on his shoulders and back. Now to make this more interesting he is your height and has decided to go into professional bodybuilding. Yes, when he competes he is going to have to shave or chemically remove the hair, but he considers it a masculine adornment. In the beginning he also considered professional removal and then considered what it would cost and what it would involve choosing to "shave it when he competes and gets paid to do it".
The other thing that he has found as his muscle mass and weight has increaed is that he has had no shortage of people wanting sex from him. Right now you and he are about the same height. His current weight is just under 185 pounds with 17+ inch biceps.
When we got him over two years ago, he had major self-confidence issues and also like you he had lived the life of a hermit because of it. In his case he had come from a family where there was an abusive alcoholic father.
Remember that improvement comes from adding things to those that already make you different and unique, not subtracting from the unique qualities that set you apart from the crowd.
One of the things that came out from my nephews therapy a while ago. Love yourself for who you are right now, because if you change too much too quickly, you lose the greatest thing on the planet and that is you. I also told my own nephew what I am telling you right now. God only made one of you. Impove it and add to it but never take away from how great you already are!
Good Luck
