Golden Showers

Since we showered shortly after I didn't notice the perm relaxing. Which isn't too surprising as the amount of actual ammonia in urine should be close to zero. For hair treatments time and concentration of ammonia are what makes hair color and perms successful.

There should be a very, very small amount of ammonia present in urine, as the body converts ammonia in the liver to urea rather than pass ammonia (tadpoles pee ammonia) or uric acid (bird urine) through. Once urine sits and decomposition begins it returns back to ammonia. Any noticeable amounts of ammonia in the urine stream means the liver is having problems and it's time to visit the MD for a blood test.

Get pets and / or kids - you be too bored of piss to be either skeeved out or turned on by it

Oh - and to answer the topic. Never done the golden shower thing - never been asked never been curious. It doesn't gross me out but the thought of it doesn't do anything for me either. What is the buzz people who enjoy it get off it anyway? Is it an intimacy thing? A taboo thing?
