| | | I prefer looking at circumsized penises rather than uncircumsized ones probably because I, and every other guy I knew growing up, had a circumsized penis. I think it is for this reason, that I think uncircumsized penises are less attractive [generally--not always] even though a majority of guys in the world are not circumsized. I didn't have a choice in the matter, but I like the way I am, so I don't appreciate the smug arrogance of the pro-foreskin community telling me I have been "mutilated" or that I am "jealous" of the noncircumsized because they have 'em and I don't. No and no. I really doubt I am missing anything by being circumsized--honestly, could sex really be that much less pleasurable for not having a foreskin? I just don't think so. So I am pretty sure I DO NOT suffer from foreskin envy. | | | |

I've been doing manual stretching for about 4 months now... seems like I am either getting new skin behind the head, or that the skin that was there is just "looser" - I don't know which.

Mine was better than average among all, cut or uncut. Perhaps you have another problem regarding nerves or desensitizing that's caused your lack of sensitivity. Automatically blaming circumcision is ill-informed, and you should consult a urologist if you think your problem is affecting your sex life.
My thumbs have been exposed to air and rubbing and chemicals and extreme heat and cold, but I can still feel the slightest touch. | I had that test too... and the doctor said that I was "normal" and then I asked him what the test result would be for a "normal" uncut guy? So then he did the test again and he stopped at each point that was "normal" for an uncut guy... and I didn't feel anything.
A question for you... does the head of your cock look like mine (with tall the dryness and cracks)?

You know, to deny that anti-circ sites arent full of these ideas is nuts. ...

I think it would be best to keep the discussion limited to what the O/P stated and what's in this thread.

I think it would be best to keep the discussion limited to what the O/P stated and what's in this thread. | You arent the end all to circumcision talk, i actually have an open mind about it rather than to lop off all foreskins because of whatever reasons people decide to do it. But given that i know plenty of males who have no issues whatsoever with it, i know that its not a common feeling when you are surrounded by others who are just like you. LPSG made me change my mind on circumcision and i dont agree with it for infants now. What i said had everything to do with the original poster because his research has told him to feel horrible about not having foreskin. After reading those sites about 8 years ago i felt guilty for not having foreskin.
I don't like people who cram their beliefs down your throat because of their own personal feelings on the issue. I'm not out to change the world on circumcision and i certainly wouldnt be telling my friends and family what to do about it.
Like i stated, look it up on google and you'll see exactly why these men are feeling the way they do. Instead of educating people on how its not necessary they go into all sorts of playing things up to seem like a horror show in the operating room and how men are missing out on immense amounts of pleasure. The foreskin is like an eyelid and a clitoral hood, while it has some nerves that respond to tactile stimulation- its not really a pleasure zone because its there to protect the areas that do have bundles of pleasure nerves.
So do you think those sites are doing anyone a favor being so one-sided? I'll state once again that if you do research on birthing methods, breast feeding, birth control and even abortion, you find the most grim of imagery and horror stories to scare people into believing. I actually believe that most of these contriversial things have their place in the medical field, but should not be routine.
For every guy who hates being cut theres a guy out there who hates being uncut. It's all about feeling like you are missing out on something.

I have sex with lots of guys, cut and uncut, and the uncut guys have soooo many more ways of receiving pleasure from their cocks, compared to a cut guy.
So... the FACT is, being cut means you are missing a lot of pleasure / sensations... pleasure and sensations that uncut guys get to experience.

So... the FACT is, being cut means you are missing a lot of pleasure / sensations... pleasure and sensations that uncut guys get to experience. | I think its all relative really. Of course you can play with the foreskin, but i've had sex with uncut guys who don't feel they are missing out on anything. Some women feel that they are missing out on sexual enjoyment by having smaller breasts, someone with large breasts might not like them. It might be natural to have it, but no one can truly say that they are missing out on loads of pleasure because of it.
Technically speaking, you can literally say they are missing out on having a foreskin but most males would say they are enjoying their sexual experiences regardless.
I will agree that there is fact in how the head of the penis skin does lose some of its sensitivity by being exposed all the time. But I dont think that every man who ejaculates prematurely due to over sensitivity is uncut, i'd say here in the US most of them are cut and still experiencing hyper sensitivity.
Nerves are complex and just like one person thinks that getting their nose pierced didnt hurt- others would say it was hell.
I'm all for keeping your foreskins and whatnot, but im not for creating complexes in other males because of ones particular complex. For example, i had a huge amount of densensitization over the years from scar tissue adhering my hood. I considered removal but then decided on getting the hood pierced. I am more aware of the nerves on the hood since it retracts and it does feel good in a way that i never noticed even when my hood did move because its not moving up against a hard piece of surgical steel. I will not say that the hood/foreskin lacks pleasure sensors, what i will say is that most men are satisfied masturbating, receiving oral sex and having sex, unless they arent with a skilled partner.
The real deal is getting the clitoris and glans penis stimulated to reach orgasm. Most people find that pretty rewarding and don't think much about what they are missing if everything is working right. This whole philosophy of mine in this thread is to not breed more insecurity among men. I never said keep up the routine foreskin removal in infants because we should all be ok with it, what i'm saying is that people are beating themselves up so much over it when its all relative. A man who loves his foreskin is going to be aware of it, one who does not have it is still enjoying sexual stimulation unless there are other issues involved.
I once had small tits and i used to stroll around boards having women who have had augmentation or considering it. My self esteem was wrapped up in trying to get what i thought would make me happy with myself. I wanted so badly to look like those other women. It's not healthy to stew in what you don't have. He should consider foreskin restoration and use his story to help others who might be considering getting their kid circ'ed at birth. I don't want to see this guy feel helpess and hopeless over it.
I didnt want any breast stimulation and dreaded going to lingerie stores. I began to withdrawal sexually because of it.
I think this has a lot more to do with psychology when it begins to affect your self esteem.

It wasn't a procedure dreamed up by doctors to make more money.
Either way, if it's been done, it's over. Being angry, feeling inadequate, etc, are a waste of time. Life is WAY too short to be twisted up over something you have absolutely no control over, and that really has no net effect on your life beyond what you decide to make it.

The skin grows when you give it a rest. It takes time. The time goes fast because it feels so good.

There are so many variations among peni that without having specific knowledge you would not know why your cut penis looks different than an uncut one.
