Facials: degrading or expressions of love?

I posted a thread called "Who invented the cumfacial?" in another room, in which I was seeking input on when and where in porn history this obsession with ejaculating on a woman's face began. But it seems a few others are more interested in discussing my secondary point, that it is a degrading practice meant to appeal to sexist men. Not to make the claim that a facial is always degrading among consenting partners, only that it's overuse in porn is more for the sexism than the sexual nature of it.

I don't care for facials, but I do see where the women ask for them. I don't know whether it's all staged or what. Same with cumming in her mouth. I would never force that or really even want to unless it was requested.

I always thought this was a weird argument, although I understand it -- that we need to "see" the man orgasm. But what about the woman? We don't really "see" anything. But we hear it, we see the outward signs of it, and if we're actually engaged in the sexual act ourselves, we certainly feel it. Why is it so necessary to see the fluids shooting in all directions? I personally prefer pornography where both parties seem to be legitimately engaged in a sexual act, not just an act (hard to find, sometimes). I would prefer the guy just do what feels good rather than what the director tells him to do. It's more convincing and sexy that way.

Nope. Not end of story, and I can fault them for being party to an organized practice of sexism. Just because someone gets rich off it doesn't justify it. There are people out there in the world getting rich making child porn. Can you fault them for trying to stay profitable? God I hope so. And just because child porn is ILLEGAL and a facial isn't makes no difference either. At some point in the past child porn was not illegal. Then society as a whole decided it was immoral and outlawed it.

If pornographers are making boatloads of money by promoting sexist behavior, I think we have every right to question whether such a practice should be allowed to continue. Of course, there are quite a few people who will claim all pornography is inherently degrading to women, as it separates the woman's body from the complete woman and makes her into nothing more than an object to be conquered. I'm not totally in agreement, but at least if pornographers are doing something very clearly degrading, it should be addressed I think.

I can't imagine a woman wanting/prefering to get a load in her face or even in her hair. Then there's on her back or up her poop chute, her boobs, even her tummy. But it's been my experience, at least with condomless or uncertain unprotected sex (yeah, she swore up and down she was on the pill and takes it religiously as instructed, that or uses an IUD), that to shoot on her back and tummy is safer than inside her vagina.

Please try not to be so ethnocentric. Facials are hardly the worst of it. When you could be addressing the Russian sex slave trade or the AIDS infected men in Africa raping little girls and giving them that Godforsaken disease, instead, you are putting the practice of women getting PAID top dollar to take a man's load on their face. Seems like there are some better things to discuss. And please dont ever try to link facials with child porn, it makes you sound less than intelligent. We live in a capitalistic economy where everyday, people compromise their morals to make a buck. It's not something new and crazy, drug dealers have been doing it for decades. You live in Rhode Island... you know what kind of country this is. When I was overseas in the Navy, I saw women be beaten in the streets. Did I want to help, yes. Could I, no. Lastly, you don't have to pretend that you are soooo incredibly straight that you don't enjoy watching a man nut on a woman (wherever he chooses to).
