^^I agree with SteveHD.
In my own life, I'd rather not practice bareback sex with someone I wasn't 100% sure was negative, but on film I LOOOVE bareback. It's so animalistic and raunchy that it turns all of my knobs. Yeah, but is it right to feel it is okay for those actors to bareback. The ones you admire. I would like the regulation hotties to still be here. There are a bunch of regulation hotties that aren't here today. They died. Look at Brad Davis and Timothy Patrick Murphy. Those guys were handsome. They got HIV. They wasted away. Died. What a shame!
Unfortunately, you can't have bareback sex without someone risking their life...on or off film. I'd hate to see the decline of this type of film, but it's been widely rumored that many bb performers either have or are willing to catch HIV or AIDS. Yeah and that is very sad...selfish and stupid. I think that bareback porn should have some serious, serious regulation. Bareback actors should be well-taken care of financially and medically.
When these same performers try to bounce between the two worlds (condom and no condom porn) they are definitely gonna be met with opposition strictly because of principle. If someone doesn't agree with bb sex or those who decide to do it on film, they simply cannot allow an actor to be in their films who does.
It's also pretty hard to distinguish what people do behind doors or off the set. If they do or don't practice safe sex. It's too easy to spread the disease around for people to be so loose with protection. I agree.
I don't really know where I'm going with this rant, but I'm just ranting at this point.
