Dead Boys Don't Scream

I purshcase it from TLA a couple of months ago. It's a hoot. Bad everything except for the naked guys. I have no idea where you can get it for free but I am not disapointed in my purchase.

Has there ever been a well-acted, gay horror film with a substantial storyline?

I would have said "NO!" until recently, when I saw the short film...

It truly freaked me out!

I recommend it to anyone who isn't squeamish.

dosnt really say what that movies about care 2 give a lil info about the story line to us?

It's about a gay high school student who becomes fascinated with the new "bad boy" in town. He learns that the new guy has befriended two other "bad boys"...all three of which wear a necklace made from a bug (he thinks that means they are some sort of clique).

One night, the three "bug boys" invite the young lad out to the new kid's house where he finds out exactly what the necklaces signify.

To say more would ruin the film.

I must repeat...the short film (I'm a fan of the genre) is exceptionally well done...but disturbing as hell...on Earth!

This is an insidiously disturbing film on so many levels. It was perfectly made: direction, acting, editing and gets under your skin in more than one way. The development of a foreboding conclusion was expertly created and it is heartbreaking and erotic and horrific. I see that the director Carter Smith just completed his first feature length film, a horror cliche, The Ruins to be released Apr 4th. I imagine it will have lost the barebones terror of this short film, but perhaps, within the genre, it will be fresh.
Damn, though, Bugcrush creeped me.
