Father/Son Nudity

What's this covering up while dressing around other men? If a lady is a good, proper lady, she will afford you privacy to dress by covering or averting her eyes or leaving the room. To ask another man for this privacy seems strange, especially your father. It would be insulting.

Raised two wonderfull sons on my own, nudity was never a problem as long as we respect each others privacy.I dont have a problem if one of my boys sees me naked or with morning wood as long as i do do it in purpose. i used to bath both of them till they were old enought to clean them self on their own.i dont find a reason to bath with them now since we have two showers, but i do walk in on them while they take a shower to take a piss or shave.

That's a good attitude. As I mentioned before I never really saw my nude until recently as an adult, but thankfully I had an older brother. That was helpful seeing a hairy body and so forth so I knew what was happening to me as I aged.

Never really focused on changing rooms ediquete. We all simply changed our gear and took appropriate showers and redressed into our appropriate clothes.

No big deal. Accepted as a part of life.

I saw my dad naked plenty when I was a kid and I think I turned out ok. Likewise I don't think my son was scared seeing me in the showers at the Y on the beach or whatever.

When I went to the "Y" in the 80's Saturday was father and son day. Bathing suits were optional but I never saw a dad or his son(s) wearing one. Really, it was no big deal. Why the fuss?

Seeing my dad when he was changing clothes or coming out of the shower was a good thing in my mind because I knew that eventually I would look like that one day.

I never saw my father naked, he is a bit old fashioned. When I was about 7 I went to a swimming-pool with a friends family. In the locker-room his father took of all his clothes in front of us. To my friend it was all natural, but for me it was the first time a saw a grown-up mans penis, it was so big and hairy! I was embarrassed and laughed a little. My friends dad asked me if I laughed at his penis. I was even more embarassed and denyed it was his penis I laughed at. Afterwards I felt so stupid and I wished that my father was like my friend's father, being naked was no big deal for him. After this I was always looking forward to us going swimming again so I could se his big, hairy dick again. I think that if I had seen my fathers dick at home in the shower etc I would have been less interested in seeing other grown-up men's dicks.

I never saw my Dad naked (not that I really wanted to) however it might have satisfied my curiosity about the anatomy, plus prevented me from bashful kidney problems even to this day.

This thread confuses me. I've never been shy or self-conscious around my dad, especially not about something as trivial as the human body. We've been nude around each other more times than I can count, and it never seemed weird to us. But I guess each family has their own limits.
