Agreed -- it blew my mind. That actor made Chigurh (the creepy dude with the mop haircut) into one of the scariest characters I've ever seen.
Not to mention the skills and resourcefulness displayed by the Llewelyn character and Tommy Lee Jones's sheriff.
I can't even remember the gore (what little there was, anyway, relative to what it could have been). It was the persistence of violence, the irreversible fate of everyone that Chigurh set his sights upon.
