Renting porn by mail

Anybody have any experience/recommendations about places to rent DVDs by mail? Back in olden times I used to rent gay porn (on VHS tape) from an outfit called PM Productions in NYC but they went bust. More recently I've been doing biz with Gay Adult DVD Rentals - rent or buy gay XXX DVDs at nymMEDIA which has an all gay male catalogue. Good selection but way slow and way expensive, but my expectations may be skewed because I also belong to Netflix which is much cheaper and much faster to turn rentals around.

To be fair, Netflix has a distribution center in my area so it's to be expected that they would be pretty fast vs, a company several states away. And Netflix has a horizontal (mass) market vs. a vertical (specialty) market which means Netflix can offer more for less and still make money. Capitalism = good, profit = good.

Not trying to emphasize gay porn but would be interested to hear if anyone has any experience with other Netflix-like porn DVD rental outfits that offer fast turnaround and relatively decent prices. I have a couple of "straight" (cough cough nudge nudge wink wink) buds who like pussy porn for motivational purposes, so I'm looking for a good deal and good variety.

But don't you think that instead of going for a membership, getting high speed internet might be a better option?

The amount of websites with adult content is staggering, you'd have more privacy and could just store your favorites on your computer.

Your mailman will know what type of video you are receiving. We know all the return P.O. Box numbers by heart.

My mail man is a not very attractive mail lady, bless her heart. I don't much care what she thinks. Now the UPS guys who bring me shit from Amazon, that's another story.

I too, was a member of NYMedia. Is was way slow, so I let my membership go. I was also a member of urentdvd.com in California. Turn around was twice as fast and I'm in Maryland. Give it a shot-both gay and straight.

A few years ago, I had a subscription to Bush DVD (not affiliated with the president) for a time. As I recall, the rates and the selection were good, and I had no complaints about the speed of delivery. I don't know if they have a gay division, though.

Just a quick tip. People should be aware that most of these places are located in Cali and ONLY Cali. Therefore, if you live closer to the East Coast, it will take frustratingly long for the dvds to arrive. (Blame the hideous USPS.) Check the FAQ of all of these sites and see if they have 2 coastal shipping facilities to accomodate you. (Wanted List is in Cali and NJ.)

A couple years ago I used dvddon.com its lik an adult netflix. They had a decent selection of straight videos, I dont know how theyre selection of gay porn is tho. It wasnt much more expensive than netiflix but as I remember it did take longer, but not a crazy amount of time. And I believe that you can request for them to get dvds that you are interested in.
