The best out there is NYM. They carry a lot of titles that most do not and often they get them in stock around the same time they are released. Most online rental companies make you wait months. Plus if there are movies that you want and they don't carry them, you can request them.
NYM also ships out from more than one distribution center. That may not have been the case when you last had your membership (to member Visualalert).
I would give them a try again because you will have a hard time finding a selection of gay movies that is any better than what they carry. I had a membership with almost all of the online companies except about two and none of them could touch NYM. But you are right the service is a little expensive. But consider that they don't carry many of the cheap compilation flicks and horrible Bacchus films. They carry a lot of the top notch stuff like Titan Media films, Raging Stallion, Falcon, etc and a large number of foreign flicks. Many of those titles cost $59 or more. You get what you pay for.
As turnaround time goes it usually takes about 2 days for me to get my next movie. If they get it on a Tuesday for example I usually have my next movie on Friday. I live on the east coast. I had the one at a time membership and it was a little slow waiting for the next DVD. But I moved up to the two at a time and it is much better. If you don't like waiting I would try the two at time. While you are waiting for them to receive one, you will already have one at home.
I have never received a DVD from NYM that was broken or excessively scratched and unplayable. That was a big problem with a couple of the other companies I tried. |
