How long do you need to be here before everything starts repeating?

Everything or only something?

I saw the first repeat of a new topic back on day 1. To repeat every topic ever made, might take at least a week.

Just like life everything repeats eventually - but the second and third time around it's not exactly the same, it's the same subject with different responses.

Depends on the topic... I've seen repeats several times over already, and i haven't even been here a full month... LOL

With me, it lasted for about 18 months, maybe 15. Then things started repeating. If my average post count could be tracked, one should look for the point where it dropped under 3, that is about the repeating started.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. Or privileged. Or something. I'm sorry, what was the question?

15 mo. sounds about right for me too. I suppose one gets to a point where you don't feel like telling your stories a second time around also.

I wonder if that is the shelf life of members here.

Johnson's recursive corollary on repeating history:

"History seems to repeat itself even if you take into consideration Johnson's recursive corollary on repeating history."

It may well repreat itself - repreatedly - but what does it mean?

Oh the pedantry - the damned pedantry - not to mention the pig calling the flamingo pink!!

I guess I could try, but, umm, who's asking?
