(3) Stupid is, as stupid does ... I would guess the same for insanity

Given what the country is going through now, and the difficult decisions that will have to be made, those two leaders of the Democratic pack frighten me more, than say, McCain, Kucinich, or even some Democrats like Edwards ...

Mea culpa, Indie.
You realize I was choosing Romney as someone I have no respect for, to emphasize how easily Bush's performance as pres could be bettered?
But if you say Bush is better, I won't argue.
I could be quite happy with Obama or with Clinton.

But maybe Skull was talking about the larger picture. Clinton started out quite popular, and after a dip, again enjoys a high level of regard.
At the time he was leaving office his approval rating was higher than any other president leaving office for the last 70 years. People were just mad at him for copping head in the oval office!!! His rating was 68% when he left office, not sure what dub's is...

I'm just worried obama might be a pussy. Hillary is one cold bitch and that is what you need to be to pull the trigger when it needs to be pulled. Plus Bill will be back.

Bring back Bill, '08

Well, yes, his approval rating, if you look only at one figure, was surprisingly good ... and was at its highest just after the impeachment.

But only 45 percent said they would miss him, and his fellow Democrats (correct me if I'm wrong) considered him damaged goods for a couple years or so in their own campaigning ... a sad decline that Clinton spent the next few years working hard to reverse. (And he succeeded.)

Just after he left office, two out of three Americans said he would be more remembered for personal scandals than his political achievments, and well over half said they didn't think he was honest.

And yet you're right: A surprising number of people really liked Clinton.

When he went to Gaza in 1998, the Palestinians were bursting with love for him; I don't think there's any other American political figure who could excite that reaction now.

The guy's loaded with charisma.

Bush's approval rating is around 30 percent now.

Finally, like you, I'm not sure Obama has the toughness to be president. Which is fine if he only has to tiptoe through the tulips, but it's a big world with lots of surprises.

Of course, maybe he is tough. The problem is, we just don't know at this point.

So much for for the independent woman idea. Does Hillary even care that Bill already seems to be overshadowing her?

P.S. I'm not really arguing with skull . . . just bored

choosing the lesser of all evils.

everyone has an opinion, just like everyone has an asshole. and you know whats in common with both of them shit.

so until you lose your opinion and are able to look at life unbiasedly we should just shut up. I want obama to win I pray to god hope the establishment doesn't take over again.

What is voting about if not the expression of an opinion?

I thinks its choosing the lesser of evils. and based upon who can choose the lesser of evils is going to win out in the end. evolution at its finest? (ah but I what I just expressed can it be categorized as an opinion?) answer is probably yes. so did I just disprove my own theory? I am willing to accept that notion. or is it just an expression of what I have been through in life in combination of genetics. blah complicated thinking is hard :p

btw on a lighter note is that picture on your avatar of you?

That's what everyone said after Iowa.
The tune was changed after New Hampshire.
Now Obama's done beautifully in South Carolina.
But the tune can change again.
You're ahead of the starter gun, camper joe.
I'd say it's an open race, but I'd still put my money on Clinton.
