I used to love Cam4, but the idea that one person can ban you from the whole site is a bit unfair I think. I am banned from there now because I logged into this guy's chat, who did not state if he was str8 or gay, I said hi to him, and he asked if I was M or F, I said I am a man, and added do you want me to leave? Instead of saying yes or no he banned me, and now I cant chat there.
I dont like to lie, so I always say what I am instead of all those fake "girls" going into chats, and when asked if they have cam or MSN they never do, ofcourse it can be true, but years of camming on the net has learned me that most of them are guys, who dont dare admit they like wieving other guys
So Mr Cam4guy ban those who really destroy that site, not people who are trying to be nice and honest.

I agree with you. It seems ridiculous that a faceless someone on line can ban you from chatting forever.
If you read the last page, Cam4guy who runs the site has commented on this problem.
I am sure when they realize how ridiculous it is at present they will do something to rectify it.
Fortunately no one has barred me yet.

I use to show on cam4 but ive got a problem: my profile doesn't show the preview of my cam but a man shadow... this is disappointing cause you get lots more visits when the preview is on! anyody knows how can i do?

Any broadcaster can ban you from their room, but it takes 4 different bans before you are unable to chat to other broadcasters. I have just been banned from chatting, and all I did was to tell those that harrass broadcasters to go elsewhere if they dont like what they see.

You do not have to be a member or broadcaster if you wish to report someone for harassment, racial abuse or encouragement of underage activity. Just make a note of the persons screen name and report to yne webmaster. Cam4 contact

Apparently, it is at the discretion of the webmaster as to how long someone is banned from chatting.

Still have a lot of fun looking at the cams though.

I just deleted everything that is possible to delete on my profile at Cam4 since they clearly are more interested in havin screaming 14 years old chatting there than polite people I will stop going there and try to find another place to play. Go into any chat with a girl performer and see what I mean about screaming 14 years old, DO THIS, DO THAT, YOU BI.., DO THAT WH.., DO THIS SL... If this is what the people behind Cam4 wants in their chat room so be it. I have tried to tell them by mail how I got banned from chat as I wrote in my earlier reply in this thread, but they seem to be unwilling to do anything.
I have never been rude to anyone I have chatted with on Cam4 or any other chat on the internet.
So goodbye Cam4 it was fun while it lasted, and noone I chat with on the internet from now on will ever get any recomondation to go there.

And to those of you who still want to go to Cam4, dont chat to anyone, and if you do, be an ass or use a fake girl name, and say you are 18 and horny. Dont chat nice and tell them what you are, you will get banned by some moron who thinks that all chatters with girl names are girls.
