locker room advice!!

used to happen to me a lot in my younger days. Just kept the towel on, then I finally got my head around it and it never happened again. Never see a guy with a boner at my gym but find the younger guys never let the towel go. It is funny to watch them struggle to pull up their boxers without the towel falling. I also found a wank before the gym never worked, unless it is in the shower.
Don't think about it and it won't happen

I get off being naked around other people and especially when io'm damp and in the slightly chilled air of the locker room... when I'm walking around the lockers but not I always get a semi which is usually half covered as I will carry my towel infront of me, I dont wrap it around me though, that would be more obvious if I ever did go full pole.

Mines certainly a lot to do with how the air feels on my skin when im wet not just there being guys around. I'm more likely to tent up around the poolside than in the showers, for example.

It was the showers I was always more worried about as well and I've never had a problem there lol

Its funny to watch the younger guys try to put on their underwear while trying to keep a towel around them. what are they embarrassed about. every man has a penis so what is so special about their penis that they have to hide.

My perspective:

When I see that, I think "awesome! a hot young guy with a hardon!"

Hey there..........it a normal thing and if others are starring its probably because they arent hard. I have the same problem after an intense workout and I just sorta turn my back to them or continue on with my showering and getting dressed , hard or not.....eventualy it will go away..and trust me your not the only one that gets those......if they look , they look...

if you do get a boner do not worry too much about it, str8 or gay they will all look and think of you when they go to bed

I think, "That guy has a boner, and he is cool enough with himself to know its no big deal".

You can tell when a guy is doing it to show off, or to get attention for sexual purposes. If you are keeping to yourself, and not making eyes at anyone or flirting, then I assume its just a dick gone hard. Sometimes a boner is just a boner...hahah

Great thread. Most all agree that an erection is normal. Even at my age, I experience unanticipated erections. Thank goodness I do not yet need a pill. I will enjoy my status as long as possible.

Nothing to fear. As so many have stated, an erection is expected and to be enjoyed. As some have also stated, flaunting is not required, but then neither is trying to hide it.

Towel down/up and dress and proceed on with life.

This is a great thread, I have a question for guys, str8 or gay, do you leave the towel on when changing for the shower?

I am 32, and have done both but mostly just leave the towel wrapped, it is a stupid habit, but I feel like anyone in their 20s or 30s leaves the towel wrapped. I don't know why I care, I guess I just don't want the other guys to think I am gay. (just being honest)...I am bi, hook up with guys every once in a while...but never into at the gym or locker room...I am there to work out, and pretty modest, etc...

just wondering why it seems younger guys change this way and guys in their late 40 and 50s walk around completely naked, shave naked, etc...thoughts?
