What does your LPSG Nickname mean?

I have green eyes and slightly pointy ears and grew up in a place with "forest" in the name so "elf" is a nickname someone gave me.

Someone asked me in chat one time if it was German since "elf" means "11" (i.e. inches) but sadly that's not the reason.

Ah, my use of "prolific" had to do with how often we post here, not, sadly, how often we get, uh, posted. It's been a long dry spell over here for hotbtminla.

My wife calls me Cap; all my friends call me Cap; even my mom called me Cap a couple of times when I was much younger.

I got nailed with Captain Elephant when I was just about 13. An uncle gave me this cool Air Force pilot's cap that I wore everywhere. One of my older cousins asked if I was trying to be Captain Kangaroo. My best friend, another cousin, said "no, he's more like Captain Elephant," referring, of course, to my pot belly. No, of course not, I'm kidding. I was the only uncut kid in the group, and being small of stature and long of dick it looked like an elephant's trunk. It was shortened to Cap - the nickname, not the dick.

I don't think Mom would have called me Cap had she known it was my dick nick.

I hadn't used the Elephant part in years but figured it was appropriate to resurrect it for this site.

Well Mick is my real name.

It started as my MySpace name. Ever notice how You type a celebrity's name in a MySpace search and ten pages on them inevitably come up? At most only one is the real deal. The others are obviously poseurs.
It's a joke among my friends.: I'm a bass player/songwriter/singer. Fame may have eluded me so far, but I'm a celebrity-in-my-own-mind.
..So I jokingly called my page "Mickactual" to let the masses know I'm the real actual Mick (as tho You'd get nine additional poseurs pretending to be me - ha!).

It's also a nod to the "GalacticaActual" name Edward James Olmos responds with on "Battlestar Galactica" when someone speaks directly to his character on the com/phone lines (I'm a fan of the show, so...).
