Hard-on at the doctor

I am not or ever will be gay... but I am involved in a lot of sports and that means lots of physical exams. But every time I am at the doctor getting an exam, doesnt matter if its male or female...i get an erection and it is just really embarassing especially when it is toward a male doctor... has anybody eles experienced this???

So how big a hazard is it you're pointing toward the doctor? LOL

I've seen guys who are hard in the waiting room at the doctors office,

One guy in particular was very noticeable up to mid chest level, the

doctor came in to see me immediately after seeing him

and had to readjust as he entered, there was no doubt

he was physically aroused by the sight...after all we are all sexual beings,

straight, gay or bi...or somewhere on the continuum...

So How big is it? And is it obvious?

Don't worry about it, man. You're young and being naked in front of anyone is sometimes arousing. It's totally normal. Don't think anything of it.

Well I was at the dr. just last week and he had a finger up my ass. He spent so much time at it, I almost just jumped up on the examination table and lifted my legs so it would be easier for him to uh examine. lol. Actually I never have got a hard on in front of a dr. or a nurse and been naked in front of both (yet). But drs. see em all the time. It has nothing to do with being gay and drs. know that.

While you may be getting an erection due to arousal, it may not be sexual arousal per se. It is common for males, particularly young males, to get erections at many different times. It's common to be sitting in class and get an erection for no reason whatsoever. It's common to wake up with an erection (meaning you have to urinate). I've heard that some men have even been known to get erections when they are scared.

Maybe you're just nervous about getting naked in front of someone else, and that in itself is an emotionally/senory overstimulation for you that leads to an arousal -- of fear, nervousness, anxiety, etc.

Erections aren't always sexual.

Yeah, they're doctors. They understand human anatomy and sexuality pretty well and so they get it when guys get an erection just from being naked or whatever. Your sexuality doesn't even need to play a part in it really. I mean, sure, it's embarassing, but we all have our moments. Don't even worry about it.

They probably see several erections a day.

dont worry about it, if i was you I would make a joke and ask if he has seen one that big today. or if anyone else has been that happy to see him lol that oughta calm your nerves

dude erections based on physical stimuli are common, don't worry about it. I've gotten hard from having doctors (male) do their usual physical exams for sports and annual check-ups and it's really common and doesn't mean you're gay (though there is nothing wrong with being gay, obviously). It's a physical response and just take it as a sign that every part of you is in good working health.

Nothing to be ashamed of. In fact an erection in the Doctor's Office/Exam Room is a great indication of a healthy male.

Yes I've contemplated what I should say to the doc when this happens.

Something along the lines of

"Don't take it personally".

All young men will get erections at the most embarassing moments. Some at medicals, however most guys it wouldn't happen ALL the time and if it did I dont think they would post it on the web mmmm...

If this problem persists you may want to explain to the doctor and if she is a lady doctor she will probably give you a bj as a solution or if it is a man he will be able to find a nice nurse to do similar - just remember to take a person with a camera - you clearly have a bright future in porn

I think some of these responses are really rude. With the Internet you can never know for sure if the story is legit or not. But if there's a chance this is a legit question, you guys are being rude to a guy who may want some support here. That's rude

Male or female doctor .... erections in front of them are embarassing, but it doesn't mean that you are gay when it happens in front of a male doctor. The brain is the most important sex organ. For some reason this is in your head. The more you think of it the more it will happen.
But hey hazard0015 like others said, it is also proof that you are a healthy male!
