LPSG members meet in New York City (NYC)

If I don't get suggestions for a venue in the next week then I'm going to pick a place out of Zagat guide OR make it The Bus Stop simply because I've been there and it's not bad. This is where somebody (anybody) who lives in the city would be welcome to make a suggestion.

This sounds like fun. I'm just your ordinary average married guy but I'd like to hang out with some of you guys. If you make it early enough on a Saturday at someplace that's easy to get to I can try to be there. Maybe even meet up with Jason on the way into town.....How's that sound Jay?

I'd suggest something gender neutral at least for dinner. Afterwards we can think of other places to go but keep in mind not everyone here is gay.

I wasn't aware it was your baby. My apologies if I'm stepping on toes. I'm happy to let you lead or we can co-produce or I can bow out. It's up to you. I'm just trying to find a good place that everyone might like. Once we have a place and a date then we can get a group reservation and make-up T-shirts.

I have a prior committment every first Saturday of the month, but I'd be willing to cancel it and come to NY on Jan 5th.

This will be a big step for me, guys, and I'll probably be anxious. But I need to do something out of my comfort zone and shake-up the safety net a little bit.

I haven't been to NY for years, but I presume that the meeting place will be in Manhattan-- midtown or the Village-- and a "neutral" environment where everyone can feel comfortable. It shouldn't be a gay club nor a straight sports bar either.

i agree: a neutral locale in manhattan. while we have lpsg in common, don't envision this as a sexually-focused get-together, so meeting at the eagle, say, is out. <grin>
