What does everyone think about hair on a man's body?

As a gay male, I consider hair on the chest to be a 'showstopper' for me. I just don't like hairy bodies.

Seems to me that numbers seem split 50/50 in reality. Seems as if half of women and gay love men hairly bodies, the other half hates hairy bodies.

I personally think a man looks good hairy. and as a fairly hairy man I have never had anyone refuse to date me because of it. or at least say so.
I never had any problem taking my shirt off because of it when I was younger, but then again I come from a family of very hairy men..some much much more than I am. if anything, I kind of felt left out in the fur dept at times and was good naturedly teased by uncles about not being as furry as them and my dad.

I am a hairy guy and see nothing wrong with it. I have hair on my chest, stomach, back (neck area), shoulders and of course pubes. My wife has never complained and see no reason to change it.

Personally, I don't understand why anyone would want to shave their body completely smooth. It makes them looks like a young boy. I see several guys at my gym who are much hairy than me. A couple guys have as much hair on their back as some guys have on their chest.

I had chest hair and back hair.... left the chest hair alone.. and lasered the hair off my back/shoulders..

I think some chest hair is sexy (not like a rug) but having it on the back and shoulders... well... at 21 I started going for laser treatments and its allllllllgone now......

I naturally don't have hair on my shoulders or back, but I have it everywhere else. I ain't shaving nothing but my balls (to make my package more visible).

Seriously, hair is good. Something soft to run your fingers through during afterglow is sexy.

I like hairy guys as I'm one myself. Guys love running their hands through my chest hair and happy trail. Lucky no hair on my back or butt. Got hairy forearms and legs though.

Being naturally smooth I have always been fascinated, and very attracted to furry/hairy men... I do get sick of the 'lazor hair removal' ads everywhere- is that not reinforcing the 'your ugly- so change it!' mentality?

I like my men hairy and my women smooth...

Happy Halloween! After reading all the posts, something struck me. Even though I trim my body hair, I could always let it grow out all the way if an admirer requested it. Then all of you will find out that I'm 1/2 warewolf.

i do like hair. i find it to be a turn-on....except back hair. i'm not a fan of that. chest hair, treasure trail, and a medium-full bush does it for me.

Like many other things in life, the ability to "be hairy" is taken for granted (it seems) by many guys. Body hair (especially chest hair) seems to remain an attribute for the most part. It exudes masculinity. Many men who aren't hairy sure would like to be.

This current fad of being "less hairy" will run its course over time, I believe. Perhaps in a few years, "being hairy" will once again be more sought after.

it really depends on the guy. I don't mind a bit of hair but I don't care for excessive back hair.
