If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you oughtta go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid.

I guess I'm just a cut and dry kind of person. After going through multiple surgeries in my reproductive/genito-urological areas.....I'm happy that I enjoy sex and I'm a woman who can have orgasms and multiples at that. I've had numerous piercings. In the big scheme of things, if it functions and you are satisfied with your lover then I think there's nothing to complain about.

If you don't believe in circumcision don't do it and don't do it to your sons. Otherwise, if you are having sexual dysfunction and arent happy- consider other factors than your lack of foreskin. It's really not something to get hung up over your whole life. It's unfortunate with all the illness, disease and tragedy in the world that people feel it necessary to be complete asses over the issue. I've seen it many times on LPSG about this subject and several posts from members who have ruined personal relationships over it.

I've had a chunk of my cervix taken off with no anesthesia, it was no picnic in the park. Some women have it completely removed with hysterectomy and say their sex is no different while others say it was a life saver and helped with pain issues they had. It's all subjective- every bit of this type of surgery and skin/tissue removal.

I guess my personal life has brought about more to dwell about and i happened to only meet men who didn't think twice about it. It's merely my experience by talking to men i know, plus the knowledge of subjectivity of nerves.

Why look past the obvious loss of over half the specialized pleaure receptors?

I'm sorry to hear about the surgeries you've endured, but that is really irrelevant to the discussion of whether anyone has the right to decide for a non-consenting healthy infant how much of his penis he gets to keep.

I think i'd not be a complainer about it, that was the example of my surgeries. And they arent half of the receptors, exaggeration is a common occurance on this thread. If you read about the circ supporters its all about how its for hygiene, cancer preventative measures, lowered HIV risk, aesthetic purposes, and all the ridiculous reasons they did it a 100 years ago. If you look at anti-circ websites they are just as ridiculous. Just don't do it to your kid if you don't believe in it. The radical outlook on both sides is embarassing when you look at the subjective evidence.
