This thread is going to suffer from regional dialectic incompatibility.

In the states, these two words do not sound the same, neither do could and cud. It does make for interesting linguistic material, though. The differences in pronunciation across the English speaking world.

I didn't see it as an "!", but as an "l", so I saw Game ! , as Gamel, one of our users, and misread the whole title as:

"The homo phones Gamel"

Hmmm interesting. I don't think I've ever heard those two words pronounced the same. Learning something new every day. cool
