| | | OMG Wildhoney..give it a rest. He may be a minor in the USA (where they are so prudish and sex-phobic, it's a wonder they even have a younger generation), but in most parts of the world his age is not a problem. In Canada, the age of consent is 14 ... In the Netherlands, it is 13.... I get annoyed when Americans assume that just because their antiquated laws prohibit normal relationships, it applies to the whole world.
...and don't get me started on American Foreign policy, which, I think, is an oxymoron!

It's why even celebrities under 18 can't be discussed here in a way that might be interpreted as sexual. Don't assume to know what my personal opinion is unless I state it, please.
Edited to add: And let me add that I didn't put down Spike07, unlike your little spat. Where I come from a 13 year old being cruised by someone over 18 is considered child rape, so every where is different, yes?

| | | There is no law against discussing such things, just in displaying pornographic images of minors. What Rob_E decides is acceptable in addition to that law is up to him. Each state has individual laws about what the AOC is and these range from 14 to 18. It also sounds like, and forgive if I'm wrong, Spike is very close in age.
And yeah Spike, he's definitely interested in you. Make that your favorite ride at the fair!

| | | First, Wldhoney, I am calm!
Secondly, I understand that we may not discuss sexual content of anyone under the age of 18 (due, as you state, to US law), but there was nothing sexual in the original post; it merely asked if the 17 year old was interested in him. To make the olympic leap into the "sexual zone" is unfair.
Thirdly, you make another olympic leap: cruising is child rape... I do not believe that this is true... harrassment, touching, etc., may lead to rape, but 'cruising'. I doubt that even the over-zealous American system of jurisprudence would consider 'cruising' to be RAPE!! However, I stand to be corrected.
Finally, you state: Don't assume to know what my personal opinion is unless I state it, please.
I would never attempt to state your 'personal opinion' for you, and for the record, I did no such thing. In fact, you stated no opinion in your response to Spike07. I merely pointed out that you are the one who went overboard with your reaction. MY opinion is that this type of pseudo-warning is very much the "American way", for the reasons I stated. Btw...how is your opinion anything but 'personal'? Quite intriguing!!
Thanks for the discourse; it's one of the great things about this site...

| | | Exactly my point, lesmeljos. First, I purposely stated calm down in response to your "give it a rest". If your going to dish it....
I threw in my opinion, clarifying that every where is different, after your speel on Americans and our prudish ways, etc. Should I assume that every man in the netherlands is a child rapist because the age of consent is 13 and here that is looked upon as a child? No. The same, in my opinion, goes for your assumptions. Personally, if an adult cruised my 13 year old or my 17 year old, there wouldn't be a hole deep enough for them to hide it. However, I am anything but "prudish". You are the one that took it to the personal level. I simply relplied in the same vein to show the difference between keeping my opinion out of the first post and my next.
Second, look into other threads regarding minors and discussions on the TOS. There are threads closed for discussing minors in any sexual way and discussions of bannings for such.
No, the OP did not say anything blatantly sexual. But the need to have the wording "cum" in the post rather than "come" while stating the age of seventeen rather than just no age at all, and the fact that he only has two posts, would make me wonder if it isn't baiting to see if the discussion will head in that direction.
But by all means.....continue.
