Yes, I agree. It's one of the reasons I haven't bothered to add any more pictures. At one point I actually had a face picture up, as well as several additional body pics, but when I deleted all my pictures I never put those ones back up. It definitely slowed down the volume of messages.

I don't really mind the PM's, I just feel bad when it takes me forever to read them and reply, especially since I don't go off of LPSG to communicate when I don't haven't had a chance to get to know someone.

I am glad that i have read the last few posts about pictures attracting unwanted PMs. I was just about to add a few to my profile!

I use my own photos as my avatars. I think WldHoney does as well. I know that Think_Kink is often hers. Lots of the ladies (the real ones, anyway) use themselves as their avatars. I find that's the best way to go.

I had my real picture as my avatar. Since I deleted it I hardly ever get a PM. Mostly I just delete the ones I get because they tend to be from men that have never posted on the site. There is no good reason to reply to someone who just comes here to lurk.

It's not the pictures, because I don't have a gallery at all and I still get PM'd a lot.

Some are interesting, some are harmless but boring, and some are downright annoying and/or creepy.
