Anyway--if the dude wants a pubic pelt, let him have it. Maybe there's some chick out there who would love to duck under a tent of hair to give a blow job. Maybe there's a chick out there who would like to floss as well as suck. If he's into it, let him have it.

Personally, if a man I was involved with got naked and revealed a fur coat of pubic hair, there's no way I'd put my face near it. I find pubic hair tends to make one sweat more and then traps the scent so that it festers. No thanks. Trim it, shave it, or lock the door on your way out.

Once upon a time, if a guy shaved or trimmed he was branded a faggot! I trimmed a bit only recently because guys suggested it seeing my pelt in my gallery pictures! If you are trying to please a majority of people today, it is probably best to trim!

I'm not sure what you mean by that statement. The assumption would be that he's very bushy in the pube region. Perhaps, if he is like me, he has pubic hairs that are extraordinarily long. Its weird. I'm not bushy but my pubic hairs aren't the usual "short and curlies". Mine get unusually long if I don't clip them periodically. I'm due for another trim as I have some hairs that are at the 7 1/2" mark. I know. Like I said, weird, huh.

My underarm hair is the same way. Left untrimmed the hair will eventually begin to dangle out beyond a t-shirt sleeve. Some almost reaching my elbow.

I say an occasional tidying up on a guy's bush always looks better.

it's not your call, but there is nothing wrong with trimming up a bit. shaving it all off - i hate that look.

pubes about 3/4 - 1" long and covering a large area is optimal. but that's one opinion, and it's his what to do with his. might be interesting if you discussed it. i had no one to talk to about body stuff when i was 19 and wish i had.

I agree with njqt.... His woman's preference will influence his decision. He will also form an opinion when it comes to how a woman grooms her own. If he discovers he likes her trimmed or bare as opposed to natural, it will give him an idea of how a woman may feel in reverse, and he will be less likely to expect her to "deal" with it when he won't.

Why even make an issue out of it? They're his pubes, let him decide what to do with them.

Mine do the same thing. They're light in colour, straight, and can get relatively long if I neglect to trim them. I've always found this a bit odd, as the hair on my head is thick, curly, and more plentiful than any one person (or 3 or 4 people) need. Why is my head hair curly and my pubic hair straight? That's just wrong.

Would you welcome him posting a thread, "My brother's been assessing my pubic hair and making comments about it, is he weird or what? I have his interests at heart, I don't want people to think he's crazy or a little bit strange commenting on the state of my bush, but it was like really odd for someone to mention it in the first place don't you think?"

Mind you beeswax. When he or anyone needs your pubic advice I am sure they'll ask you for it

I agree that pubic hair should be left alone. I love the look of a hairy crotch as well as stomach, butt and legs. I wish I had more of it. It is a real turn off to see a man who shaves. I won't go near it if it is. It would look like the body of a boy instead of a man.

When the hair grows back, you're used to having none there. I think people just think it's thicker and more coarse because they're used to none at all.

Cut hairs have a cut end, they do feel thicker, the cut end feels stubbly and rough, but it's exactly the same hair from the same follicle.

Shaving hair does NOTcause more hair to grow, otherwise balding men would just shave their heads and grow new hairs. They don't do they. It wouldn't work.

Hairs grow from follicles. the follicle determines the growth rate and texture, it also decides on terminal length and curl and colour.

You cannot make hair thicker or coarser by shaving. It is a matter of sensory perception. You think it is, It is not. Sorry
