..guess it depends on how bad the situation really is Alex. If you don't have much pubic hair, or as much as your brother, maybe it looks out of control to you and really isn't that abnormal for a guy with an extremely hairy crotch. Some guys are like that. I have always had an extremely hairy groin and am not overly hairy anywhere else on my body..

My chest is moderately hairy, legs fairly hairy and have a nice beard, but I have enough pubic hair for about three men. My hair is thick, widespread and high on my abdominal area as well.

As stated, many women like a guy with a lot of hair as it's more masculine. Many guys trim for appearance and to maximize penis length. Personally I like having bushy pubes.

Armpit to elbow is only 10" on me. Small framed guy. 5'6" No chest hair. I wish I did. I love a hairy chest.
