My first sexual experience happened while I was waiting to be baptized. In the Southern Baptist tradition, baptisms happen at an older age; I was 8 years old. Exactly... what is this shit. I've done some weird shit in my day. Even in 5th grade, in the classroom, teacher and class.... everything... but NEVER in church. (shuddering). There would have been some serious abuse by a priest... and I'm not talking about the good kind either!!!

I've had the occasional illicit thought of having sex in a church but ultimately, it's not something I could ever really act out.

I'm not religious, though my parents attempted to bring me up Catholic. (They've since left the church as well.) While I think the Catholic church certainly is screwed up in a lot of ways, the fact is that religion is a sacred thing to people. I have a small (not Catholic) altar at home and I'd be pretty fucked off if someone had sex atop it. I don't think I could disrespect someone else's sacred place of worship like that.
