Fake profiles and photos?

Floating means to bait. It`s a trick predators use to catch their victoms. Lets just say, to real in the innoccent or niave.

Ah, ok. I thought maybe it meant to let other lpsg members use your name and gallery or something, as in "float" them, which doesn't make a lot of sense, but I was confused, so..... yeesh.

Floating is also compared to someone saying one thing yet their feet are doin something else. Their feet aren`t linning up with their mouths. To outright tell a lie, knowingly, without revealing their true selves or motives, to get what they want at the expense of others.

Better than the only example that came to my mind, lol- that of 'floating' my horses teeth!! but when one reads Lafever's comment I've quoted, the comparison makes perfect sense....
as the horse ages and his teeth wear down, unevenly, from the constant grazing, the top and bottom lose their alignment, (hence the mouth - feet analogy he uses.) and we 'float' them, file them to a more even and functional alignment again.

Laughing....wow, I just learned three new tid-bits today. I had never hear any of the 3 analogies.

I've seen a few photos that are fakes; I only thought that they were done to see what they could get away with. But if not, who ever posted such things will never be able to live up to the lie. They don't win much.

I think the word floating would be a good one to have in the rules and regulations along with the several analogies that go with it. But what do i know, i`m just a newbie rookie, right?

For avatars, it's anything goes. Though, you can believe I'm a cartoon kitten if you want. XD For the galleries... it's rather sad. Of course, people always want to fit in somewhere, and some will go to extreme lengths.

My aunt, who is a photographer that used to work with models, said the same thing. I don't have the personality to go with it, though... even though I'm a bit of a "diva". >_> I don't know how to get into it anyway. XD I always thought you needed to be scouted.
