What's your reservation for meeting people from this board?

Cost... I'm a student bitch...lol so it's not a lame excuse. Want me to take a loan out so I can fly to meet Matthew? hrm not a bad idea.. not!

I wouldn't have any reservations with meeting people from here.

However, I do feel it would be a waste of time for me. I don't think anybody from here would really want to meet me. I am sure nothing but more rejection would come out of it.

What about loyalty to one's spouse/partner. One of my most important goals is to be good to my partner. Anyone I would meet would have to be someone we would meet.

I am never opposed to meeting anybody from lpsg.
Why some of you think it's a waste of time is very strange. If it's a waste of time,then why participate in the forums at all?
I'm not sure why some of you think this meeting up, is a chance to hook up for sex. I have never looked at it that way,and it certainly could be used for those purposes,if your single.
Mr. Ed and I were quite looking forward to have a meet in the midwest,and we live in Boston. We don't have unlimited funds but we would have tried hard to be there.
Rikter did quite a lot of work to set this up for people and nobody did anything but bitch about it. Every one wanted this or that from Rikter8
but nobody wanted to help him set it up, make arrangements,nor could they agree on where they were willing to travel to.
Everyone wanted it close to their location,but felt it shouldn't be convenient for Rikter! WTF! It was his idea!
Geez! So many ingrates, so little time!

Cost - I'm a poor bum. That's not stopping me though.

For me it's mostly cost, and safety concerns, with a bit of social anxiety thrown in as well. I do know one person on this board in real life, SensualGoth, but we knew each other before - I recruited her to join here! I joked about having a local chapter of LPSG meeting with "Location" being my apartment! (so I could be very "supportive" ), but in reality I would have too many safety concerns for that! Meeting in a public place? Well, that sounds good but then when you have to explain to the proprietor of the establishment what your "meeting" is about! That could be a problem!

None. I have met a few people from the board. When I find myself in other areas, I will meet a few more.

No issues here either. I'm cool with it so long as I can schedule and it's not outrageously expensive.

I posted this poll based on comments and I was interested to see what people had to say about meeting other LPSG'ers, and trying to find out What their hangups are about meeting.

I've no reservations about meeting up with people - just not that many of you come round this way.

Too far/too lazy/cost.

But I wouldn't mind. If someone wants to come here, pick me up and pay for a flight
