You believe in a dream that will never surface.
How can people or business succeed if they do not "at the expense of others"?
What about all the local restaurants, shoe stores, general stores, etc. that were put out of business during the 40's thru 70's. It has been human evolutionary craving for efficiency that has promote demise of jobs through history.
Is it mine or your fault if people are being foreclosed and bankrupt. Should we not be an opportunistic buyers or teachers (examples to friends and family). Home ownership is at all time high the last few years. Yet, people are going to lose houses during this housing slow down(arm's).
About health care increases....that is dynamic on to itself. If Rep. had their way they would place a national cap on malpractice lawsuits. I really do not have any other response to health care. Just do not come back w/ a "nation health care system" We already have one and look at the RED & RED. The tech. boom created more jobs then any other industry in the last 50 yrs. So, yes there was a lot of jobs around. Not the Dem. or Rep. doing in the least bit. Bill Clinton signed NAFTA. If that wasn't for big business then I not sure what was or is. Think on how many jobs (well-paying) have been lost since. The economy of the 90's was one of the greatest of all times. Minor blimp for 91' then watch out until 2000' Stock market is Bull for 5th year. Taxes are down. Jobs have rebounded from cutbacks in 2000 & 2001 (not Auto in Mich.). Home ownership. People are more educated about investing (not just for the rich). I just think people that have ideas need the balls to go through the conceptual phase and just do it. But, we all know that most people will and/or can not think past that stage. They love to day dream, hence Democrats! |
