I reason that the middle class should 'fight back' is that globalization is a driect attack on their way of life. Globalization allow large corporations to move jobs to which ever country will provide the lowest bid. Since other countries have weaker labour laws and human rights laws, there is absolutely no way western countries (which includes but is not limited to the U.S.) can compete. As a result, most manufacturing jobs are moving over seas to third world countries. This is eliminating the middle class. Add to this, illegal immigration to the U.S., which allows smaller American companies to set up their own 'third world' work force locally and one can see why the middle class should be concerned.

There are a few other issues as well like Bush et al. blowing money which should be going to our health care, education, you name it, on his military mis-adventures.
