Buying Magnum Condoms

Magnums really are so much more comfortable. There are a few other speciality ones I've used that are the right legnth, but nothing feels better for girth than magnums. As for buying them I've only got the ocaissional look from the female clerks. And male clerks kind of always have the "yeah right" attitude (which some female ones do to too). But every time you buy with a girl there with you, they don't doubt it for a second.

I have never tried the Magnums, was in a Long realationship, so did not need them, back in the day when I used condoms I had never heard of Magnums .The Reg 1s would actually cut off my blood flow due to my gerth and it would hurt, I would start to go soft, 1 time the lady Iwas with could not believe the diffrence in size when i took it off and got the flow going again. I have not bought them in a long time, so I have been shy about even reading the package in the store to see what size I need. so maybe I will check them out sounds like i could be 100% and still have a condom on.

It's funny. It's one of those things that you never realized, then afterward you can't believe you didn't realize. Seems like a lot of bigger guys use the regular condoms thinking that's just the way they are supposed to feel. You don't know you need bigger until someone tells you you're big or need a bigger condom.

I know what you are talking about, when going to buy them, I need extra large magnums, so I go to a East Indian run convenience store by my housr to buy them. There are two ladies that are part of the family that owns the place one older the other is the daughter. They are both very hot looking!!! I purposely go there when they are working and not the father to buy my rubbers. When I first went there they only had the large magnums on sale there so I just bought them and they always looked at each other when I put a couple of packs of them on the counter and talked between themselves in their language and they laughed ! That really turned me on to wonder what they were saying, I am a black man so I am sure it had something to do with that and the large size rubbers. After a few times of buying them there , the mother said do we need to keep more of these in stock for you, we dont want to run out, and they looked at each other and laughed and said something I couldnt understand. So I thought what the hell, I said yes please, but could you order the extra large size, i really need the extra large if you dont mind!!! You should have seen the look on their faces it was really hot, she said of course if that is what you need. I said yes it was, and could swear i saw her start sweating and look at her daughter after that. The next week they had the extra large when I came in and I went up and the mother was working the register by herself and I put a couple of packs up on the counter and she said I got them for you she was by herself and she looked to be sure no one else was in the store and she said I will be closing the store at 10 oclock would you like to come back then, I will be alone tonight. I said sure is something wrong? She said no, I have heard stories about you black men before, I would like very much to see what you have that it takes such a large thing to cover up, I took one out of a package and it was very long when I unrolled it would you mind if i put it on you to see how it fits you? I of course said no of course not I will be here, and of course I came back at 10 and the stor was already dark, but she was at the door and told me to come in and then locked the door behind me, you can use your own imagination after that of what happened and I have been back several times since then, she has talked about wanting her daughter to see me too because she has been very interested about sex and the size of mens things she said lately so she wants to keep the situation in her control and show her while she is there about the difference in the size of men, Anyway it sound crazy but it really did happen and it went on from there for quite some time, but I wont go into that, but it is the truth it did happen!

We do have a brand for "large" in the UK. Magnums are one, durex gold another, and there are more.

True the standard high street shops don;t stock them, but the gay outlets do, and they are freely available mail order online.

Really funny, but I've actually considered buying magnums just to see how big they are and to see what kinds of looks I'd get from the cashiers.

Iknow how you feel.. I try to aim NOT for the older cashier (although it's a hoot when they realize what you're getting)... no no no... watching the brand new young girl cashier - they get really flustered REALLY easy- just buy condoms...
..personally,MagnumXL's cost 18 busk for a box of twelve here.. so , when I WAS having sex , I'd get a box or even two...

I always wondered why the instructions on condoms said to gasp the condom when withdrawing to keep it from falling off. There has never been the least danger of that happening. I have to tug the damn things off to remove them, even if I let myself go completely flaccid. But, buying Magnums seemed like hubris - how much difference could there really be?

Then I had to buy some Durex condoms at a convenience store, no other stores were open, and I couldn't believe how tight they were. It felt like my dick was being strangled. So the next time I bought condoms, I figured 'what the hell', and bought some Magnums (made the mistake of grabbing Twisters, though, which my partner did not like) and they were a hell of a lot more comfortable. A few weeks ago, I tried Magnum XL for the first time and damn, those are comfortable. They still won't fall off, but my dick doesn't feel squeezed anymore, which is how I have always felt with condoms. Now, using condoms isn't a pain.

Damn. I pay $8 for a twelve-pack. Where do you shop for condoms?

anyone ever try durex XXL??? this past weekend one our way back home my girlfriend and i stoped at a small gas market... i saw a 3 pack box of them under the trashy looking rough riders... i thought what the heck, in that i thought they had stoped making them... i found they really arent much larger than magnum XL's... maybe its just marketing to stroke, a mans ego??? although i do enjoy looking for a "blush", or "that look", from the cashier when i buy them,,, "provided its a female"...:)

i use Magnum XL's (i now regret choosing this name because i feel a bit silly when talking about the condoms lol) and i am really really self-conscious when going to the check out line.

I'm a tall black man in a predominantly white, conservative, southern U.S. neighborhood, and i try to make a conscious effort break misconceptions and stereotypes. this one however, i cannot dodge (shucks! lol).

But i obviously look for a female cashier. if it's just guy cashiers, i will go somewhere else to buy them! but to be honest, i've never really got any reaction. Maybe it's because that's what they expect? i don't know....

If it's a myth... why do YOU buy them? They are generally more expensive than standard condoms. And if you don't need the added size, they actually are less functional than a standard condom. It's not something that you want to have too large and risk having slip off at an inopportune time.
True. I struggled with standard condoms for years before trying Magnums. That's the flip side of the 'Magnum myth': thinking that those must be for the REALLY big guys, those much larger than you. Then you find out that YOU are, if not really big, at least bigger than average, and that Magnums go on more easily and are more comfortable

And it IS a pain. Using standard condoms, my penis was being garroted at the base, and after I took one off, there would always be this angry red indented ring around my penis.

Did you find Twisters to be that much different? I really couldn't see or feel the difference once I had one on.
This may vary from store to store. Where I live, they have Magnums, Magnum XLs and Magnum Twisters at Wal-Mart.
