I'm with "benderten2001." Sitting is quieter and cleaner. I don't want anyone to hear me taking a piss. Strange, isn't it? Probably no one else gives it a thought. Apparently some women are bothered by this; I remember reading decades ago in either Dear Abby or Ann Landers that they should hum to themselves while urinating.

I often use urinals in public restrooms, but as I said on another thread, I've noticed that when I wear shorts, a fine spray hits my legs. That bothers me; I think, what if I were wearing dress clothing.
