This reminds me of when a former surgeon general suggested that we start teaching children how to masturbate as a way of promoting "safe sex."

In all seriousness, I'm a long way off from having kids. But, if I had a son and I thought he could handle it, I would like to dialogue with him (**a bit**) about the subject. I NEVER would want him to feel ashamed of jerking off -- I want him to know that it's normal, natural, and that every man does it... I think it would have been cool if my dad had expressed that much to me. Unfortunately, when I was in middle/high school, none of my buddies admitted to jacking off. I thought I was the only one.
