Am I too shallow?

Well seriously, I don't think there is any connection at all, each to his/her own.

Here's what I think:

You're definitely being shallow. However, theres nothing wrong with being shallow sometimes, and I'll tell you why. There is one very basic rule that I think applies to all relationships and that is if a person doesn't make you happy then theres no point in being involved with that person. So you define what would make you happy and if he doesnt fit the bill then that's it.

I like to think of it this way. Imagine you're a staunch democrat, would it be shallow to not want to date someone because they are a republican? Yeah, it would be but who cares?

You're an adult, you know what you like in a man so stand by it.

Breast size preference is a mental thing only. Never once have I thought, "my penis is big - I require big boobs to play with!"

In fact the only real preference I really have is towards real. Fake is bad. Always.

I don't think you are getting my point here.
Forget about the dick for a second. (yeah I know, *gasp!*) Date the dude because you like him, not because what he is packing. Seriously, personality is way more important than penis in the long run.

Hehe that sentiment always sounds funny coming from people on this forum.

Thanks to you all. It's very good advice. I agree that it seems kinda funny on this site to talk about not considering size. Obviously, size is visually and physically pleasing to me or I wouldn't have even come here. But I also know it's not everything. I was married for ages to an average-sized guy, so maybe I just haven't gotten my "fill" yet (pun intended :-).

I think you know what you like. You belong to this boards, so size is a big factor obviously. Let's just say, what if you guys get along great. Do you think you can carry on a happy relationship with not meeting your needs in the meat department? Only you really know that answer. Call it shallow or whatever, but the bottom line should be - you know what you want - I say don't waste his time if you know you'll just end up wanting more. You have to think about more than yourself. So, it's great that you acknowldge this and are discussing it. Either way, good luck! XO

i think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves here, i mean... u havent even seen it yet.

True. This is probably a silly question - and I'm sure it's been debated on here - but in order to not waste anyone's time in the future, is there a way to tell? I know show size is a myth, but some of my gfs swear that hands or fingers work. This being a gathering place for well-endowed, what do you guys think?

Yup, height, hand/foot size, nose size, whatever...all proven wrong. Even how big he is soft won't tell you. Only one way to really find out :P
