Asians are people who are from Asia or decendents from Asia. Asians are made up of many different people and depending where you are from, Asians usually refer people like Koreans, Thai, Chinese to the Americans; but in England, it usually refer to people of Indian or Pakastani descendants. This website is view by people all over the world. Even you if you mean that Asian (in your term) equal yellow skin, even with that, not all "Asian" have "yellowish" skin. I know some very white "Asians" (according to your definition). You statements are excluding a big portion of people in which some people other than yourself have a different perspective of what they consider Asian is. I think you need to broaden your perception before you can make a strong statement like that especially when when you make no room for arguments. Not everyone share you point of view that you think "it's offensive in technical terms but it's accepted by everyone."

Geologically speaking yes, Asians are people who are from Asia but when not everything is technical.

I withdrawn the definition of Asians from my experiences thus my point of view. I can't speak for everyone therefore I speak only for myself.

The reason I make no room for arguments because everyone share their own perceptions of the definition of Asian, there is no right or wrong since our conceptions are different, that is why I said what I said.

It's a normative statement, such as "the color red is ugly". If you want to argue against it then be my guest but it's unnecessary since there is no right or wrong.

In any math questions, the variables are always stated as integers, positive numbers, real numbers etc. You can argue that it's not an integer or a positive but that's not part of your solution. You are suppose to solve the question with the given criteria.

In this case the objection is to acknowledge the Asian community on LPSG with the criteria of Asian = yellow skin.

I was born in South Korea and brought here as a toddler. I'm quite intrigued by Korean culture and history; but for all practical purposes - I am an American.

That math is your strength is not a good excuse to relate the debate back to mathematical concepts. The problem here is that the defition of an asian is not your opinion, or my opinion. It is not really debatable at all. When you make a patently false and borderline racist statement (i.e. "Asians = people with yellow skin), you can't just have us believe the definition of a word can be changed based on individual beliefs, and that therefore it cannot be argued.

It is actually not a normative statement; it is a positive statement.

You keep using the same rationale, over and over again. Just because you think our beliefs define the word asian doesn't mean it's true. And even if asian is a subjective term, why can't other people answer based on their own definition? My personal whim is that Asians are people from the continent of Asia, either physically or through ancestry. I believe that is a little bit more rational than your "perspective."

Also, please do not try and pull the wool over someone's eyes using math. I believe you are trying to discuss calculus. In which case, the variables are not "stated" as anything. You are given a domain (input) and a range (output), and you are to solve within that set. There is no arguing involved.

You are quite a fool. I live in Thailand, which is DEFINITELY Asia. Thais in general are not yellow skinned. They are more tanned or brownish in colour. It's just your typical Chinese-centric racist crap. Let's see Asian countries where the ethnic majority is NOT yellow: Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tibet, etc. etc.
