I think what I'm describing is called empathetic response. Do you know when something happens to your twin? I know my twin and I know when the other gets hurt or is in just about any emotional situation. People thought it was strange when we were young because we were inseparable. Our Dad died when we were 2 and our Mom died when we were 10 so we really just had each other to depend on. Our Dad's parents raised us but it's not like having your own parents around. I think that's one reason we relied so much on each other. It may even be why we have developed this, for lack of a better term, physic link. We even had our own private language that only we could understand.

I remember when my brother got his first bj, it was like I got one too. I felt every thing he felt, I even shot when he did. Talk about a mess to clean up. I paid him back though when I got my first one though. He had to explain to our Gramps why he was hard and shooting a load out the leg of his shorts on the lawn tractor when he was supposed to be mowing the lawn. I definitely had the last laugh.

Any body else have any weird experiences with their twin that they'd like to share??

This very subject has always fascinated me about identical twins. Sadly, I never had the chance to pursue any further understanding. I'm glad you have such a close and special relationship with your twin brother.

This is facinating. All the identical twins I grew up with started looking and acting the same but as they grew older they looked and acted like different people. They lost their similarity and developed individual personalities.

Can you run by the BJ thing again. I'm afraid it doesn't make sense to me. Did you know your twin brother was getting a BJ at the time? He got a BJ on a tractor?

Also wondering if there was any other empathetic experiences you 2 have shared and if your shared language was a verbal one.

I'm an identical twin and have had similar 'empathic responses' (too many to list here). I couldn't say about the blowjobs, though. I guess I haven't had the nerve to ask him.

Here are two examples:

1) Talking and answering each other in our sleep. This happened a lot when my brother and I were children and were no longer in the same room;

2) Having the same dream on the same night. We're sharing the same dream. It's as if we were the two main actors in a movie.

How about you Spermy?

Did you both sing "You Light Up My Life" in your sleep too?

I didn't know he was getting a bj but I felt all the sensations that he felt, even blew when he did. He was on the lawn tractor when I got my first bj and he felt the sensations of getting it just like I had felt his when he got his. He blew his load the same time I blew mine except I was the one getting the bj, not him, he was mowing the lawn.

Our language was verbal and drove people around us crazy because no body could understand a word of it.

As for other experiences, he got in a fight and I ended up with the black eye. I got beaned with a baseball and he got a knot on his head. When we were little he dropped the toilet seat on his penis and I felt the pain in the living room. We just know when something is wrong with the other one. I think a lot of it is because we were so close growing up and depended so much on each other. We still to this day share a house so we are still very dependant on each other.

I have one question about the freaky blow job scenario. Do you still experience your brothers blow jobs, or did it only happen with the first?

We always shared a bed until we went to college then we were still room mates. Yes Gramps and Granma always said that we talked to each other in our sleep and even carried on intelligent conversations.

Yes we still share each others experiences. It's weird I know but we're sort of used to it now and it's not as frightening as it was the first time it happened. We are just as close now as we've ever been, maybe even closer. Right now were both very much married to our work and are not even looking for a SO. We've been turned down so many times because of our size that we've about given up on finding the right person.

You know I had a best friend during childhood. We were so much alike that teachers confused us. We acted the same, spoke the same, wore the same clothes, told the same jokes. We would finish each other's sentences and just know what the other one was feeling without saying a word. We were always on the same wavelength. We would also have the same dreams too. We don't see much of each other now but I know when he's not doing well sometimes by dreams and I call him or send him a email and he does the same.

It is a kind of freaky unexplainable thing. We were very close like brothers, the same age born a week apart. I spent most of my childhood with him and our families became good friends too. I'd like to believe that it is some psychic connection but it seems so riduclous that something like that could exist so I just don't question it. It just is there.

No physical empathetic response though- no I can't feel it when he gets a BJ.

I have twin sons...and have seen simillar occurances (sp)....

For many years they would 'trade', but they didn't realize one has a mole right over his left cheek- so if we could get their shirt tales up... Really upset them when they realized the mole trick...LOL

They have very simillar reactions...(spank one, the other would cry).

One is married/straight, the other is 'bi' (I think the right term is 'horny').
