A, stick up for yourself and don't apologize. Just because one or two people here think your posts are "pointless" doesn't make them so. We've seen plenty of polls over the years that ask similiar questions -- "Should I have sex with Alecia19?" comes to mind -- without others jumping on the originator.

If you think A's message is irrelevant, repetitious or boring, just move on to a new thread.
