Worlds most annoying songs

When I think of pieces of shit like Pimpleback and Celine Dion, it makes me want to take any clothing I own with a Canadian flag on it and sell it at my next garage sale.

"This Is Why I'm Hot" definitely takes the cake...the "you're pitiful" parody of James blunt had me laughing hard the first time i saw it. Basically any other hip hop song in which the "artist" repeats his own name and how many "bitches and hos he gets".

so far everyone is right, those songs if you want to call them that are very annoying, and anything from the Dixie Chicks, their voices are very annoying.

also just about anything from Trace Adkins too, his songs are normally pointless and stupid.

Any of the big-hat "nu-country" is completely unlistenable. How many truck advertisments put to shitty music can one endure?

Agreed wholeheartedly. Somtimes it does indeed seem today's country music scene is inseparable from pickup truck advertising campaigns.

Gretchen Wilson's "Politically Incorrect" ranks high on the stupid and annoying list. Talk about appealing to the lowbrow mindset.

I get off on challenging music - if a song is annoying, I'll listen the hell out of it to find out why. Same with good songs

See, years ago I used to find this song annoying. I'd be stocking a shelf in the store I worked in, it would come on, and I'd get all punk rock and grumble to myself "man turn this shit off. I can't wait to get home and crank "My War".

I've been revisiting a lot of this stuff - pretty much Lite FM - not only due to nostalgia, but to learn from it. What drove the pop machine when autopilot started kicking in during the 70s.

Then again, for me it's not so much songs that are annoying - it's jingles.

I just wiped a whole paragraph here cuz I started ranting about jingles...

By comparison Springsteen's elocution seems impecable.
