Xtube

Is it possible to capture Xtube videos and save to hard drive as a video. Thank you.

There's a host of sites/services that detect and grab the Flash video (what those sites convert them to), and pull the .flv file. Then there's .flv converters that will change them to mpg or avi or whatever... or more easily, there are .flv players.

I use grease monkey which is a Firefox extension I found out about here on LPSG. Just search the forum for greasemonkey. It's great!

GreaseMonkey has ceased operation as of 11/04 at the request of the owners of XTube.

However, Download, search and convert videos from Youtube, Google Video, Pornotube, Putfile, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Youporn, Ifilm... is still operational

they're all sitting in your browser cache, too. you can just search for them and pull out the ones you want to keep.

Yeah the grease monkey thing is a total bummer. I just tried to add the VIloader and got a 404 not found. Has Xtube been making the rounds on these things?
