One thing I think it does is prove that we are "deep thinkers" because we really try to rationalize things that aren't rational.

Feelings and wants can rarely be quantitatively measured. It's what you want because you want it, and that's fine with me.


As a matter of fact, I would rather a person "want" something for the pure sake of wanting it than some rational decision making process. It's all about being happy, and that's all I have to say about that.

(It is cool that we have an intellectual side to our nature though.)
