Isn't the real Henry 8. supposed to have been hung, too? I saw a documentary once, where there was some talk about his 'infamous cod piece'. And in another british miniseries about him there were also some minor comments pointing towards that, I think..
Actually, it seems like back then, dick size was an even bigger issue than it is now. For instance, I once read that English knights would make the 'cod piece' part of their armour deceptively impressive on purpose to scare the french in battle. Hung meant a better man, better at fighting etc.. |
