People fail to remember how to use a ruler and have forgetten what real inches look like.

I guess size is relative to who you are with at the time of the erection. I didn't have anyone helping me in these pics, but the size is a good 10" long with an 8" circumference.

Girls always think i am atleast 8 inches, but in reality i a little under 7 1/2. So i agree the eyeball tape measure tends to more generous then the real thing.

Years of pornography and exaggeration have completely destroyed people's perceptions of size when it comes to measurement. I'm 5.5" measured really and truly and people tell me I'm pretty ample, but 5.5", as a number, is REALLY unimpressive sounding.

Lex has a point. For example I've been mistaken for over 7.5" earlier in my teens when I was in fact barely 6 inches long. I've grown an inch in the 2 years since then and it's amazing what 5-7" can look like with the right camera angles. I watched a video of myself having fun and even I would have guessed I was around 8" or so if I didn't actually know my real size beforehand .
